UPDATE It's now September 1st 2025 and I STILL have not received an invoice or bill from Hertz. Notwithstanding the nicely worded reply to this review.. my sentiment stands. Do not rent from this facility!! Who knows how much money they make everyday swindling their customers.Original review to follow. (Hertz, send me my dang invoice!!) If I could give this location less than one star I would. I booked a reservation through Expedia and I prepaid. I went to Resorts World to pick up the car and thankfully the taxi driver knew where to drop me off. There were literally no signs anywhere that there was a Hertz location inside the casino.I stood at an innocuous counter that had a small branded HERTZ sign FOR ABOUT A HALF AN HOUR. There was no one there. There was a small sign that said to call a number for service. No one answered. Finally a man emerged from the parking lot elevator. I received keys from him and we completed the transaction. I went up to the fifth floor where the car was located and from there everything was fine. Here's the problem... after I return the car the following Wednesday June 25th, returning to the car to the fifth floor of self parking at exactly the time agreed in the contract. I go downstairs to that same desk really a small kiosk.. I give the keys to a woman behind the counter who has a name tag and apparently represents Hertz to finalize the return. The car was completely clean and I had charged it since it was electric past the 90% which is what it was at the time of pickup, she says she will finish and send me an invoice, nothing else needed from me. I've used Hertz for years and I know that you often just get an email with your final bill and invoice. The car is parked on the 5th floor where I was told to park it and the kiosk is on the first floor of the resort. So she would have to go back up there. At no point did she say we should go up there together to make sure everything was in order. I'm assuming our transaction is over here.. so I waste some time until I get a Lyft to get to the airport. Fly home never get an invoice in my email.. okay finally a few days go by. I get an urgent message from Hertz that I haven't returned the car. That I am overdue by returning the car.. by almost a week. So I call corporate. Finally after about a 2-hour phone call I find out that that woman never processed the return. They still have me as having had the car. Now of course I have video and pictures to the contrary. Not only that but I am now physically in a completely different city. Today I notice that my credit card was charged on the 4th for almost the same amount that I had prepaid. I don't think you can trust these people! I called the number that no one ever answers and told them that they need to call me immediately and I want that invoice. I have no idea what they charged me for. Mind you this is a prepaid car rental through Expedia. No one there knows what they're doing and if they do know what they're doing they're doing it wrong and cannot be trusted. I'm really pissed. I'm very patient with people but now I have lost it with them. And HERTZ has lost me as a customer. Do not rent a car from the Hertz location in Resorts World. MAYBE JUST NOT FROM...
Read moreI had the worst experience imaginable with this company and I will definitely NOT be booking with Hertz in the future. I made a reservation and PAID IN FULL in advance, when it was time for me to pick up my car they told me that they had no cars available, and sent me to go to the airport to pick up my car, they couldn't be bothered to help me secure a reservation at the airport either because they are not "affiliated", nor did they offer any form of compensation. NOT A SINGLE PHONE CALL, TEXT OR AN EMAIL in advance to notify me about the car situation. They probably lent out my car to some hotel guest who was willing to pay a little extra at the last minute, and then use the excuse of "people are not returning their cars on holidays". When I got to the airport, waiting through a LONG line, the branch representative there told me that I had to make another reservation again because the airport branch is "different" from all other branches, and they would not fulfill the reservation I made. It was such a joke at this point so I went to the Sixt next door, made a reservation online and picked up my car 20 minutes later. Thank you so much for ruining my vacation...
Read moreBryce didn’t help us at ALL. Waisted our time. we had a reservation for a pick up at this location that was suppose to be for 1, he told us they wouldn’t have a car till 3 MAYBE. So that was a big upset for us, we already had our day planned out. Then they needed a credit card which is fine, but the person that booked it I guess had to be the only one to put there credit card on file? (I didn’t exactly have enough) so when we tried to transfer the name on the reservation with him since the whole credit card situation, he told me he couldn’t and I had to call to see if they would. When I called they asked us why aren’t they helping assist you and that they couldn’t help it and it had to be the people there to help us transfer the reservation name if it was possible. Bryce kept saying he couldn’t. So when I asked okay fine, can I cancel and make a new reservation through him and put our other name on the reservation since we couldn’t use my credit card. He told me no.
