I loved the jump itself, the person who took me to the top, and the staff up top. The customer service downstairs at check in couldn’t be worse.
Prior to me going, I never got my confirmation email when I booked online. I tried to call a few times over a few days to ask it to be resent. I couldn’t get anyone on the line. I was able to leave a voicemail one of the times but that also went unreturned. So, I showed up early to see if they’d tell me any special instructions then. The young lady (petite, long dark hair, wearing glasses, had a claw clip in, working Thursday June 6th at noon at the far left register) checked me in was incredibly cold and rude. She didn’t give me any instructions and just handed me the waiver with highlights to sign. She didn’t make eye contact with me once. I asked where my friends could watch me jump. She said “right outside” and continued typing. No pointing, no eye contact, nothing. Considering the building is massive, there’s several entrances/exits, and they’d clearly go outside..maybe be a bit more specific? She then asked me if I wanted to add pictures (this is important further down in the review). I say yes and she checks me out. I walk away and hope when someone is strapping me in I at least get some instruction of what to do and where my friends can go watch me. The people in the back fitting my harness and the guy that took me up the elevator were very helpful and put myself and my group at ease. The crew upstairs was very outgoing and professional. We took 3 pictures together (again, important further down in the review). The jump itself was terrifying but super exciting and fun. When I went back inside to get my harness detached, I asked where to go to get my pictures. They said to wait until my name was called. I waited about 15 minutes before I went up to ask how long it’d be so I knew whether to go kill some time in the casino or hang out and wait a bit more. I go up to the desk and unfortunately had to deal with the same rude lady I dealt with initially. She said they didn’t have my pictures and would need to refund me. I’m not sure if anyone planned on telling me or just letting me sit there and wait. Behind her, there was an entire display screen of pictures. She said they were from yesterdays. I wanted to know why they didn’t have my pictures. Does it mean you don’t have them yet and I’ll get them later? Does it mean they got deleted? She said “they haven’t sent them down from upstairs yet”. Okay so how does that equate to we don’t have them and need to refund you? I still don’t know whether they have my pictures or not and would love to have them even if I have to pay again. But alas, I can’t get ahold of anyone. My refund ticket says Jeanette but I’m not sure if she was on someone else’s register. Whoever she is, needs to find a job that isn’t the face of what’s supposed to be a really exciting experience. I mean, I’m jumping 800 feet off a building. I’d love to know how things are going to work, have my questions answered, get my pictures taken, and be greeted with at least a smidge of kindness. I still can’t figure out who to get ahold of to see if they actually have my pictures. I’d love to say I’d recommend this to others because the jump was fun, but I wouldn’t because of the incredibly poor customer service at...

Read moreI went to Sky Jump on 10/24 had a great experience. I didn’t have a reservation but the staff there was great and I didn’t have to wait at all. I opted in for the photo and video package, which ran me around $150 including the jump. The staff at both the “base” and the top of the tower were great. I felt secure with my harness, as they checked it three times at the bottom and twice again at the top. Their extra precaution put me at ease when I was about to go jump off the side of the building.
The jump was great, amazing views, and so thrilling. I’ve been sky diving before so I wasn’t that scared, more nervous about having to make the jump off, as they will not push you off like with sky diving. No kinks whatsoever and was done in less than an hour by the time I paid, got suited up, was brought up to the top of the tower and had two others jump before me. I would definitely do that junk again.
After I jumped I waited around 15 minutes for my video on my flash drive and headed back to the hotel. Unfortunately no one on my trip brought a laptop with them so I was unable to access my videos or photos until I returned home a week later. Only to find my pictures were not on the flash drive, they were of some random woman. The pictures were at night when I clearly jumped in the middle of the afternoon, I’m not sure if the staff even looked at them before placing them on my drive.
I called on 11/1 when I returned home and gave all my information and was told that someone would send them to me the next day. Never received them. Called again and was told a manager has to look them up and she’ll be in later on that day. Never received them. Called 5 days later and spoke with Carla who promised as soon as her manager was in at 5pm she would make sure she would look them up and send them out. Never got them. Today I finally spoke with a manager and she said that “It takes a while to look them up since we already backed up the drives. You know we have to plug them in and it takes time” ??????!!!! What. I’ve given them almost the exact time that I jumped. It shouldn’t be that hard to pull up a file and look at the time stamps. Especially now that it’s been FIVE days since I originally called.
Manager claims I’ll have them tomorrow. I️ really doubt it. If you lost my pictures, just tell me rather than keep giving me the run around. It might just be pure laziness that no one wants to plug in a damn hard drive and look for some pictures.
TLDR; jump was great, just make sure your pictures are actually on your drive before you leave the...
