My 90 year old mother wanted to look here for some new pants and blouses. She likes quality but is also frugal. Many of the lovely blouses were more than she wanted to pay, but she found two she liked very much (and they look great on her!). Pants do not fit her shape well, but she tried on MANY and settled on two. She was very happy with her purchases. (I also snagged a cute pair of pants.)
The dressing room carpet was dusty and needed a good cleaning - we saw two caterpillars on the floor by the mirror that turned out to be someone's eyelashes...
The store clerks who helped us were pleasant and very patient, and steered us in the right directions. This made me happy because the older woman who "helped" me the last time I was here 18 months ago to purchase a special-occasion dress was snooty and dismissive of me (she even made a derogatory remark to the other clerk when she apparently thought I was not within earshot; wish I'd reported it at the time. Please don't pre-judge folks; treat everyone with kindness.) I only came back because my mother wanted to shop here, and I'm grateful it went...
Read moreThe new bathroom on the second floor of the store is beautiful. It's the kind you find in high end restaurants. And it's ADA compliant. The extraordinary attention to the design and installation of this ammenity made me appreciate Weaver's even more.
Now if only we can get Weavers wonderful kitchenwares up out of the bowels of the basement to the ground floor where it can dazzle shoppers who come in for cosmetics.
