I’ve been following this place on social media and decided to check it out. My boyfriend and our four kids (ages 16, 15, 13, & 8) loved this store! When you first walk in, you’re greeted with arcade games. They are free to play, but be sure to follow the rules. There are pinball games to the left and more arcade games in the back. It was fun for all of us to play them for a little bit. My boyfriend and I have told our kids about the olden days when we had to blow on our game cartridges and pray. Today we got to show them the Nintendo in real life! We were so excited! I’ll admit, I did get a little teary eyed when I saw the Nintendo, sega, and the 64. All my childhood memories came flooding back. This store is a lot of fun and has a ton of really cool gems. The people working there are really nice too. They answered all the questions we had (even the dumb ones). We walked out of there with two PS3 games, a Wii game, and a toy. We will definitely be back!

Visited once because it looked interesting. I was not expecting much, but my small expectations were FAR surpassed once I walked around. Staff are super friendly and we talked about our interests for a while. Eventually I came back to buy a wii u, the prices are amazing! eBay usually has wii u's go for around 215$, this place had it going for 135$! The prices are super fair, and cheap! I cannot say how much I love this place, definitely worth it if you're looking to buy something, or even just walk around! I'll attach some pictures of the wii u I got if anyone's interested.

(DISCLAIMER: This is the same review I wrote before, however I wrote it on my wrong account) This store is amazing! The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly, their selection is very impressive, and their prices are very reasonable. I have an app that gives the going rate of retro games, and their prices were just a few bucks higher (which I expect from a store so they can make profit).

I live in Salt Lake City, and I am willing to drive 45 minutes to get to this store, and there is a retro game store about 2 minutes away from my house. To give an example of their great prices, the retro shop near my house (which will remain nameless) is selling a copy of Metroid on NES for $34.99, however, Minus World sold it to me for $13.99.

It is also impressive how much inventory they are able to fit in such a small shop. There is a lot of merchandise for sale, and the store doesn't feel cluttered or cramped. They're even able to fit in several 1up arcade cabinets that you can play for free.

This is a must for any gamer (current or retro, hardcore or casual). Great service, great prices, great...

Wow what a disappointment... first and last time to this shop. Owner was judgmental and wouldn't even give me the time of day.

The store does have a variety of exciting items, unfortunately that has been overshadowed and won't be back.

Minus? Guess the name fits I definitely wouldn't give them a plus.

Response to Owner:

"Sorry you felt this when I said we don't buy newer PC games. Even though you kept trying to push it on me."

Believe me, you have much newer game stuff then I what I brought in. I wouldn't consider 2002 new.. maybe you should clarify on your website.

And the "though you kept trying to push it on me" nonsense.. yes you stated once that you don't buy newer PC games, and out of shock I simply asked again that you don't even want to look at it? That's it. You didn't even touch/open it to see what was inside, there was much more than the game, actually pretty collectible items, but you had no idea cause you didn't even bother to check it out. You dusted me off completely.

Anyways, enjoy that 1 star...

I really appreciate the service these guys provide. Staff are always friendly and happy to help you with whatever you need. New stock is always advertised on their Instagram which is very helpful if you're looking for a specific product to come by. I highly recommend them if you're fond of retro games. They have anything from the old NES/80's era console games to the more modern titles and consoles from the last ten years. Check them out if you're looking for a great retro experience!

The missing star is because I have had one iffy experience with them. I asked about the quality of a game disc since the listed price for it was lower than usual. I was told the disc was free of damage and was clean. After opening the case I found the disc to be very dirty. Lots of smudges and a little bit of gunk with animal hair stuck to it. I took it back and they cleaned it for me which I really appreciated. I will make sure to ask more detailed questions about each product I...
