Aloha Golf and Coffee Lounge — Restaurant in Layton

This place has great coffee, and a fantastic atmosphere and staff. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Having said that, on my way out, I found a stack of cards on their counter there recently that have been going around on informing people of their constitutional rights regarding immigration officer visits (see photo) which legal residents do obviously have. As stated, yes, legal citizens and legal non-citizens do have constitutional rights and protections provided to them. Illegal, meaning NOT LEGAL (I'm shocked that even has to be clarified), does not have any constitutionally protected rights since their way of getting here made them criminals the instant they crossed over without documented permission. These cards are very telling where this place most likely stands in regards to illegal immigration. Even though these cards don't explicitly say they're for illegal non-citizens, we know exactly who and for what they were printed for, and makes it very difficult to ever want to return despite the great coffee, atmosphere, and staff. That's coming from a person STRONGLY in favor of LEGAL immigration to the United States and supports some form of reform. It just needs to be done legally. Illegal immigration cannot...

Order your food to be delivered here or bring it here to enjoy in the lounge/couch areas, there’s a small fridge at each station that can hold your drinks with complimentary water bottles! -Bring your work here if you need a new environment to crank out some remote work, the putting green is next to the tables and it’s FREE for all lounge customers to enjoy! -Step inside this shop, even just to browse around. It SMELLS amazing! Even on a non-roasting day, it still smells like Kona coffee in here. -Order the Kona espresso shots, as is with a splash of macadamia milk or in your blended mountain chai chiller. If you don’t drink coffee- the tropical teas, the matcha, the smoothies and the craft sodas ARE DELICIOUS, too! Everything in this coffee lounge is ELITE.

I told my husband the other week how I miss having a coffee shop with a lounge to work on homework or to just meet up with friends and chat. Well, we have found our new coffee stop.

⭐️The vibes were amazing. ⭐️The atmosphere is welcoming and homey. ⭐️The service was great! I got to chat with the owner who was super friendly. ⭐️The food and drinks were delicious. My husband got an iced Golden Island, I got an iced Hafekasi with coconut cold foam, and our son got a mango smoothie. We also picked up a crispy peanut butter bar, a banana nut muffin, and a chocolate caramel rice krispy treat. The Hafekasi was definitely the winner for us. We will be coming back for that drink!
