Great customer service at this location. I work in retail as well and understand companies are short staffed on a regular trying to save money on payroll, but this store does a great job taking care of customers the best they can. Even when swapped with customers. I purchased a ton of fishing gear and somehow managed to loose one of my items. Not sure if it never got bagged, or I just lost it on my trip. I went and spoke with Ernie, the manager, and no questions asked, he took care of me on the spot. I even admitted I may be at fault, but he still replaced the item for me. I really appreciated that, as that's exactly what I'd do for my customers. And it's a rare thing nowadays. I loved this store before, but now even more because of guys like Ernie. It's a smaller location than sterling, with not as big a fishing selection, but the customer service here is top notch, and is my preferred location Guys like Ernie really care about the customers....

This location clearly doesn't grasp the concept of customer interaction. I stood in the aisles, only to be ignored. I put the shoes back on the shelf to head out of the store. On my way out, I walked by half a dozen associates, who were more interested in their personal conversations than even dropping a friendly "hello".    Read moreIt was very hard from 10am-1030am today to get employees to help me purchase a g shock mudmaster for pickup, as well as purchase 2 pairs of Oakley and Costa sunglasses. The customer service is not good at all - plus they just opened for the day! The line was building to purchase items and so I waited for service so that I could pick sunglass pairs to buy - happy to do that if the employees would do anything besides act like you’re going to shop lift something.
