Wingstop — Restaurant in Leesburg

I had never tried Wing Stop before -- but I was excited to see a location go up in Leesburg. This restaurant is in the same shopping center as Dick's, Five Guys, Ledo Pizza, Cold Stone Creamery & Kovi. The location is convenient and there's always plenty of parking here.

The store is staffed with young dudes, none of whom seem to give a crap. It took an annoying few minutes to place my order. The restaurant was cold. They don't have double doors, so every time someone comes in, the whole place is instantly cold.

I ordered a 10 piece combo of boneless wings with large fries and a drink. The bill was around $20. You're allowed two sauces choices with a 10 piece -- I went for Spicy Korean Q and Original Hot.

I had to wait 15-20 minutes for my order. That really wouldn't have been an issue for me, except that my boneless wings were cold when they finally arrived.

The large fry basket was a generous portiotn. However the fries were so over seasoned they were largely inedible.

I liked the flavor of the Spicy Korean sauce -- although the Bulgogi sauce at Buffalo Wing Factory is far superior. Also, no complaints about the Original Hot sauce. If you're like me and you like a super spicy sauce -- you probably should move up to Atomic, because Original Hot is pretty tame.

Another major disappointment was that there are no napkins in this place. Wings are a messy food! You need a lot of good quality napkins. Instead, Wing Stop offers a roll of commercial grade paper that feels like wiping your face with sand paper.

To fully evaluate this place, I would need to go back and try their traditional bone-in wings. The thing is, I was so underwhelmed by my first visit that I don't see myself ever going back.

If you want delicious, perfect wings in Northern Virginia -- go to Buffalo Wing Factory instead. They have better wing stock, many other great menu choices (e.g. for your female dining companion who doesn't eat wings) and way better sauces.

Remember that Wing Stop is a spin off from Pizza Hut. This stuff is low grade, fast food, for people who really don't...

This place is a train wreck after having crashed into a dumpster on fire. You know it's bad when every time you drive by or near you see multiple cars outside on the curb with their flashers on and a couple dozen people standing around the counter.

I've been here 4 times now, and only once have I actually eaten food becuase it is near impossible to actually get food. Never once in those 4 times have I seen a single person at a table with food eating. I suspect most people never actually get their food and most food that does get made is thrown out. This is becuase of how long it takes them to make orders.

When you look at the shelf of orders that are ready, every order is from 1-3 hours prior to the current time. It seems the process is this: Orders come in, get added to the backlog. 1-3 hours later, the order is finally made and put on the shelf, however by this time the customer has long since cancelled the charge on their credit card. They don't cancel the order with the store because the staff is too busy to answer the phone. Literally every time I've been there, there are people on the phone either with the credit card company, or with their significant other, telling them to cancel the charge on the credit card.

This place is also a nightmare for Door Dash/UberEats/GrubHub as there are always multiple angry drivers standing around unable to get help from staff and never able to get their orders for delivery.

Stay away from this place like the plague. Go to Sterling or one of the many other wing places...

I was hesitant to go to this location after seeing the horrible reviews but it was the closest restaurant to our house. On the drive there I was getting myself ready to check my food and be ready to argue if my food was cold or if I was missing food. When I walked in I noticed people were sitting waiting so I was like here it goes. This lady walks up to the corner after tell one of the other worker to clean this area up and make sure that they were fully stocked. The lady walks up to the counter and says “May I help you”. I say yes I’m picking up an order and give her my name. She goes to the pick-up section and there was my food nice and ready even though I was 15 mins late to my pick-up time. I told the lady that I was nervous to come here due to the reviews and she said “I know and that is why I’m here to get it straight”. I walked out with a smile on my face. When I got in the car to check the food ….The food was still HOT! No cold food. Everything was perfectly seasoned and the order was correct! I think the lady I talked to was the manager and she is getting everyone in check and the food is better than what all the reviews say. I would tell you guys to give them...
