Perfectionist hubby gives 2 thumbs up! That doesn't happen very often, but Art made it so, with ease. I bought 2 dash cams over a year ago after someone hit my parked car, then ran, causing ~$2500 damage. This a few years after another yahoo hit me then tried to pin it on me (unsuccessfully, I'm proud to say); a dash cam would have made my life MUCH easier in both cases. I knew I wanted front & back cameras, with battery power, for recording while parked. I watched a few online videos, and along with my military electronics background, figured I could do the install. Well, I started over a year ago, and after several hours trying to run the rear camera wiring through my hatchback, I lost momentum. Cameras were uncovered recently in a cleanup effort, and I looked for someone to install them. I found Art and was impressed by his 5-star rating, and when I called him, he answered quickly, patiently addressed my numerous questions, and explained his scheduling. Longer story short: Art worked our 2 cars into his busy schedule - sooner than I expected - and then did a topnotch install in both vehicles. Perfectionist engineer hubby was impressed and could find NOTHING in his vehicle to fuss over. Art did an outstanding job in my vehicle as well, it's just that I'm more "normal". Art picked up on hubby's questions about install on my vehicle which Art then used to absolutely DELIGHT hubby with install on his car. Bottom line: Art is not only a great guy, but he's also exceptionally skilled & gifted with vehicle' electronics. He has a knack for "reading" people too, as he did with my hubby. Art also researched a remote starting system for hubby's vehicle, something no one else has done or even offered (another vendor declared only "it won't work in your car"). Hubby is ULTRA sensitive to heat so being able to pre-cool his vehicle will make life MUCH more enjoyable for him, which will also improve MY life. :) Bottom line: You won't go wrong with Art. He'll make the time to listen to you, and then he'll make you happy. If only more aspects of Life were this easy! ...

My father always told me that if you were going to do a job, do it right the first time. Unfortunately, that is not how many people think. The car audio industry lacks any formal quality controls and many of the new vehicles come with advanced, integrated computer systems which means aftermarket audio installs are more complex and must tie into the car’s existing head unit. Being that anyone can set up a business, call themselves an expert, and tear into your vehicle, you are entrusting valuable and necessary electronics to the person you hire to work on your car audio.

I learned all of this the hard way over the last few months. I made a significant investment into an aftermarket audio system for my 2018 Honda Accord. I entrusted Yelp reviews and chose a shop that promised quick results. After the install, I started noticing problems. I hired another shop to tune the stereo because the shop that installed it, told me they didn’t do that (should have been a red flag). The system still did not sound right. I started making calls around town, asking who worked with high end car audio. I was referred to Audio by Art.

I swallowed hard after Art listened to my car and told me he would need to take a look at the install. He was not willing to suggest a solution without knowing the depth of the problem. I really appreciated that. He ultimately had to spend an entire week having the redo everything. He showed me photos of the previous work and his work, night and day difference. The previous shop cut every corner.
