Shopping was never made as easier than my latest trip to DXL. Ask for Dave. He is the constant professional. I recently lost my mother on December 14th. After all the planning and neverending paperwork, had her funeral set for the 28th. I realized that it's been awhile since I've went shopping and being a large man (6'3 440) didnt have many choices. Tried online but sizes were difficult to navigate and no guarantee they would be delivered on time with Christmas falling on Monday (eve) and Tuesday. So knowing DXL was on my way from VA to PA I didn't fret. I walked in told Dave my situation. My preferences and style, within a few minutes and putting pur heads together. I walked in the dressing room with the 8 versatile articles of clothing. After a quick double checking of sizes (thankfully so as the shirt sleeves were mislabeled) I walked out with new sense of confidence. And because of Dave's knowledge of the stock and specials being ran I was able to walk out of the store not only with the 8 articles but a extra 6 from clearance and only spent $420. And I'm talking with brands like Polo, Synergy, and Harbor Bay. And all stuff I can wear over again in both casual and formal settings. Beyond Happy! Definitely being doing all my shopping there. I usually love this place...but I've been there twice today and will now be rescheduling an interview and going back a third time do to misleading "professional" knowledge. I was told that "This is why I'm here" when I said I didn't know how to measure for a dress shirt to fit and when I took it home it wasn't long enough by any means. My interview is at 10 am and they are closed now and don't open until 10 am so instead of walking into an interview with the Vice President of the Bank and looking a fool I rescheduled in hopes to get some clothes that actually are my measurements and hopefully I can still get an interview.
