During my initial visit to this store, I was disappointed by the slow service, despite being a long time sip-cup member. My expectations for rapid pick-up were high, especially when the app indicated my order was ready. However, it wasn't prepared promptly, even for a simple cup of coffee. I waited patiently in line for over five minutes, then politely requested a cup from the male cashier, expressing my gratitude. This initial experience shaped my subsequent visits.
Next day when I returned to the same store, I hoped for a smoother process based on my prior experience. Unfortunately, my cup was not ready on the rapid pickup shelf, so I joined the line. The same cashier from the previous day assumed I was there for a DoorDash order, but when I clarified, he rudely dismissed me. When I tried to ask for a cup, he interrupted me and told me to leave if I was impatient, using harsh language.
I was taken aback, especially since the cup I needed was right in front of me, next to the cashier. Frustrated, I lost my temper and used strong language. The cashier refused to help and threatened to call the police if I didn't leave immediately.
As I headed toward the exit, I noticed someone had placed a cup with my name on it on the shelf. I grabbed it and returned to the coffee area. Shortly afterward, the store manager approached me and inquired about the altercation. I admitted to my part but explained that I had been told to leave without cause. To my surprise, the manager suggested I shouldn't return if I didn't like how they treated customers.
As a customer, I simply asked questions, and before I could even finish, I was told to be quiet and leave. This left me greatly disappointed with the service...
Read moreOrdered a Margarita Flat bread pizza and a bowl of soup via the website. I received a confirmation that said the order would arrive at :8:00p then it was modified to say 8-8:15pm. At 8:35 I was speaker to someone at the restaurant who started to explain about a mix up with two orders. I also learned that you have contracted with a separate company to do deliveries and your staff has no authority to call the driver to discuss the mix up and how to resolve it. They offered me a telephone number to call the company responsible for delivery’s. Long story short I never did get my order however at about 9-9:15 a Panera bag was placed at my front door. I only saw a shadow and went to check otherwise I never got would’ve have known my food was there. Shouldn’t the driver knock or ring the door bell?! The food in the bag was not mine but the driver was long gone, so I called your restaurant to speak to the manager. Again I just heard about how it was the delivery companies problem and I needed to talk to them. She was very respectful but completely incapable of resolving the problem.since the restaurant is approximately 10” from my home and she could have sent my order with one of her staff or do it herself. So I had no dinner and other than me requesting a reimbursement there was no offer of compensation. It’s was impossible to get the attention of the employee at the window until they were already handing us the bag. We explained that there were 2 mistakes and wanted to make sure we were given what we paid for / what we ordered.
We were asked to give the incorrect sandwich back after we had already looked at it to see if it was correct and then they proceed to charge us an additional dollar for the “upgrade” in soup.
I have no problem paying for what I ordered but it seems like a simple mistake that Panera could have eaten the cost of. They never told us if the sandwich cost the same or if it was a different charge that we were owed money back. On top of that, we had to sit there even longer (when the wait at the drive through is already fairly long) for them to correct our order. Just seems like really bad customer service and it’s not the first time this has happened in the drive through.
