This was hands down the WORST service ever. Don’t waste your time or money trying this place. The dining experience gave me high blood pressure for sure. How this guy was ever on Beat Bobby Flay is beyond comprehension. I’m not sure how they are still open. The food was not great, and both Panera and Wawa have better Mac and cheese and are literally within walking distance from this location. That says a lot. It took nearly 45 minutes to get food for 4 people including a basic elbow noodle with cheese sauce for my daughter, which came out last. That’s just wrong! Kids should never have to wait around for their food longer than everyone else. The workers preparing food were openly eating in the open kitchen space which is a huge food service violation. One did change his gloves, but another didn’t for sure. Sick. They were also super laid back in their work ethic and seemingly joking around when they were supposedly slammed. Two of our Mac and cheeses came out first after a long wait. Mind you, there were only 2 other people or small groups ahead of us. The place was empty, which was a red flag, but we heard about this place from Beat Bobby Flay and my parents wanted to take us out to try it because my daughter loves Mac and cheese. I went up to ask why a simple wrap and basic mac and cheese were taking so long and the girl at the register proceeded to tell me how they got a lot of door dash orders and basically had to take care of them BEFORE they finished ours! What?! Let me preface with the fact that I went to a prestigious culinary school and have managed restaurants myself. This is NOT how you run a restaurant or deal with customers. She did apologize for the wait, but proceeded to make excuses about how she doesn’t cook and that they got all these orders they needed to make. I was trying to be polite and not unleash on her, but in hindsight, I should have called them out on eating IN THE FOOD PREP AREA and not finishing( or even starting orders)in the order they came in. A couple that came in after us also got all of their food way before ours came out. I don’t know what bizzaro universe this girl lives in, but all of the food for one table is supposed to be served at the same time, not 10+ minutes apart. My food was cold by the time my daughters food was ready because I have manners and waited to eat with her. My blood is boiling just writing this review, which by the way, is the first one I’ve ever written. I’m usually really understanding at restaurants because I know it’s tough. The guys making the food were lazy and can’t even use enough salt and the girl at the register was just plain pathetic and appalling. I honestly don’t know how there are repeat customers here. I wouldn’t go back on the food quality alone, but the service we received was gross. I wish in that moment I was a health inspector and food critic so I could put them in their place. Had I been there alone, I would have asked for my money back, and made a bigger deal. People must just have no standards anymore. That’s all I can figure. I can’t imagine that we’re the only people who had such a horrible experience. On a side not, the artwork on the wall was offensive and disturbing. I’m sorry, but I don’t was to look at poorly painted zombies eating brains and demons ripping heads off stuffed animals. I don’t have words for that. On top of everything else, I’m still baffled by the fact that the food from this place even got the guy onto...
Read moreVisited on a Sunday Labor Day weekend. Surprisingly, it wasn't very busy at around 1pm in the afternoon. The atmosphere was amazing, and the service was superb. It certainly isn't fast food. I think everything was made to order. So be prepared for that if you're in a hurry.
The food was good, but I'm not a big pasta or a Mac and cheese person. My wife and kids wanted it. I think everything tasted pretty good. The quality was there for sure. Maybe I'll try their panini or wraps next time.
We ordered regular sizes and got the mother clucking bacon ranch, delmarva dog, I'm a fun guy, and the crab Mac, which was the special for the day. I liked the I'm a fun guy the best but that's probably because of the mushrooms. My wife liked the delmarva dog and mother clucking bacon ranch. My middle son liked the crab Mac. I thought it was just okay. I'd definitely go back and try other options on the menu.
My youngest was happy with his kids' meal of chicken tenders and side of Mac and cheese. It's a pretty small cup, just FYI. But he also really enjoyed the arcade machine while we were waiting for our food.
Location was a bit weird but it's right next to one of the 3 Tanger outlet malls so it's not a bad walk over if you're looking for food while at rhe outlet mall or if you wanted to walk over after you eat to walk off some of the food.
Bathrooms were fun. They are unisex, but they're all covered in pictures of employees or customers at the restaurant. It's just weird to use the bathroom surrounded by all the photos of people staring at you. It was so unique that I told my wife and kids to check it out. Everyone had...
