I went to return a ~$5 product that did not work.

I don't know if this is a failure on the corporate or store management, but when I tried to receive a refund the manager told me that he could not do that, because I did not have the product that came inside the packaging. The product is a small plastic tube of glue and a disposable wipe to clean your windshield. Naturally after I applied both I threw them away, expecting the product to work.

I understand now store policy states that you can't return a empty box with no product in it. Makes sense since people may try to scam the store, but by denying such a small refund to a customer who's been coming to this store since it was a Kragen, and not offering any alternative, is very disappointing.

The truth of the matter is, if I purchased this product on a online retailer such as Amazon, they would have refunded me the purchase, no...

On July 25th 2024 I found my self with car trouble and pulled into parking lot of O'Rileys in Lincoln CA. I waited 2 hours for AAA and call was canceled(not by me). I was told to wait an additional hr in the rising heat with 2 children and a dog in the car with no powers. I went I to O'rileys to see maybe of they can test my battery. Bryan was so very helpful and even let the kids use the restroom. He advised me I had issues with battery and offered to use jump box. I was so very extatic that the car started right up and we were on our way. We all cheered for Bryan and kids thanked him for saving us. He said he could relate because he had children and pets also. The fact that he expressed his empathy really warranted this review. He went over and beyond by showing his kindness and expertise. Thank you again Bryan for being the wonderful person you are. I was looking for windshield wipers. They were so helpful. The young lady at the cashier came over and helped with her recommendations and showed me the clip on mechanism on some Bosch wipers, so easy. I bought them went home and put them on in 5 minutes.
