This is an amazing venue for intimate gatherings. We hosted a Celebration of Life for my mom here, with about 40 guests. Seems like most of the guests asked some form of the question, "how did you find this fabulous space?" I told them it was just luck - which it was since I found it online rather than hearing about it from a friend.
The venue has a small bar area great for setting up beverages, comfortable seating areas, a great prep kitchen, and a rooftop patio. Most of our guests were on the older side, so not many made the trek upstairs to use the patio, but it has comfortable furniture and great views of Littleton. There are a few parking spaces right in front of the venue, but there are also two parking lots within a block that can be rented for private events (at quite a reasonable price).
We used a drop-and-go caterer, but the venue has a great prep area for anyone wanting to bring their own food. We used the warming oven to keep some of the catered items warm, and they let us drop off some beverages several days before the event to keep them cool in the refrigerators.
Carlie was a great help to us in deciding how to arrange the space, which is quite flexible. They had a number of 6' wood tables (very attractive) that were put out for seating, as well as a few small high-tops for people to sit at. They provided 6' tables covered in black fabric drapes for food and beverages, as well as speakers for our playlist and microphones for people who wanted to say something. Carlie worked with us throughout the planning, set up, and tear down to make everything smooth.
My only word of advice aside from "book them immediately" is to have a banner or sign for your event outside the venue. It's not hidden away or anything - but it doesn't looks like a spacious event space from the outside, and the street number on the building (black against brick) is very difficult to see. I did have a few guests lingering on the sidewalk, wondering if they were at the right place, before I found them and brought them inside.
The Celebration of Life turned out even better than I had hoped, due largely to the venue and the assistance of Carlie. On a side note - I also recommend Original Press Coffee (who provided a coffee cart and very personable barista), and Silver...
Read moreBeautiful and unique event space and amazing event coordinator! I recently hosted a wedding shower for my daughter and her fiancé at Creative Littleton. This place in the heart of historic downtown Littleton is a charming art gallery that doubles as a phenomenal event space! Our experience with Creative Littleton was spectacular from start to finish! The event space is incredibly beautiful and classy, with spacious seating and a bar downstairs, an upstairs patio, a projector for slideshows, space in the front for great photos, and a great sound system that played music both upstairs and downstairs. It also has an amazing kitchen space with refrigerators, freezers and warming ovens. We had at least 60 guests with plenty of room to move around and socialize. More importantly, Carlie Scott with Creative Littleton, who coordinated our "That's Amore" Italian-themed party for us, was amazing! Carlie orchestrated the entire party from finding us an amazing bartender, Marissa with Libation Station; introducing us to moxYcello, the distillery which helped us create amazing specialty drinks; pointing us in the direction of Mici for the best pizza and cannolis; and coming up with the idea of serving charcuterie in a cup from Wander & Graze. Not only did Carlie help so much on the front end, she met us at the event space several times to plan to ensure everything was perfect. On the day of the event she picked up some of the food for us and coordinated delivery of the food with the caterers, she had the space set up beautifully, brought out pizza so it was served hot and even walked around passing out Italian ice to our guests. Most hosts are running around trying to take care of everything, but I was actually able to enjoy the party and socialize just as much as all of our guests did! Carlie is a consummate professional, so talented and she exceeded our expectations. And all of this for reasonable prices for what the space has to offer! If you are looking to host any party, I can't recommend Creative Littleton and Carlie highly enough! Please check out their website! Everyone had a blast and loved every bit of the party. Carlie and Creative Littleton...thanks for helping me throw the best wedding...
