Update 8/5/23 3-Stars: I have a 25% deuces rate with price matching which is fine because when I find a good deal elsewhere if they won’t match it I will just get it at the other store. I found a full size AR500 IPSC target for 20% cheaper somewhere else and wanted to see if they would match the price. The store employee (I wish I got his name, he is bald) was sharp and condescending when I asked if they could do a price match. I told him it was from Kentucky Gun Company (4500+) reviews on google. I didn’t even finish saying the name of the company and he told me no. You don’t have to be rude just kindly tell me you can’t match them and I am ok with that. I literally pulled out my credit card and bought it right there in front of him on my iPad from the other seller. Like I said I really don’t mind if they can’t prove match in fact most of the time they can’t, but I am ok with that because I’ll just get it from the other place. The only downside is I have to wait for shipping.

Original: (1-Star) 2022 I have been a loyal customer for years, have spent thousands of dollars here and even have their credit card. This evening I went to buy 200 primers because they had them in stock but they told me I couldn’t buy them because I had already bought 200 earlier.

Another employee told me that the 200 primer limit was pretty chill and that if I came back later in the day I could get another 200 without issues. Turns out this is not true. I don’t mind the 200 primer limit, in fact it is a good thing because it allows more reloaders to get the supplies they need. What makes me disappointed in their customer service is the fact they they will not honor their own word. It would have been acceptable if the manager would have told me that they would let it slide this time but the other employee made a mistake and they I couldn’t buy them in the future. But instead I left the store empty handed. I am not reselling these primers or hoarding them. I reload on a regular basis and have the brass powder and projectiles ready to go for the primers I was about to get. I will continue to purchase from here, but I am annoyed at the lack of communication between employees.

I usually love this store, but man did they drop the ball with me recently. So I came in and bought a gun safe the other day. I thought I was getting a new safe when they asked me to meet them at the loading dock behind the store to pick it up. The safe they wheeled out had a different box covering it, but they told me the correct safe was inside. So they helped me load it up and I was on my way. When I got home I finally saw my safe, and to my disappointment it was the floor model. I knew it was the floor model because it had a big dent on the bottom from a pallet jack or fork lift smashing into it. It also didn't have a manual so I had to go read reviews for it on Sportsman's website to figure out how to open it up (for some reason the brand vital impact doesn't have a website, kind of weird.) Once I got it opened I found out it was missing the back up keys for it. I called the store and talked to someone at the gun counter. They said they'd find my keys and call me back later. Well I waited 3 days and never heard back from them. I even tried calling them on 2 different occasions, but the front desk and the gun department wouldn't ever answer. So I had to lug the safe back to the store to return it. The whole experience was really disappointing. No one there seemed to care, nor did they make me feel like they cared for my business. It's sad because I intended on filling up the safe, so that could have been several future purchases from this store. Now I'll have to go to Cal Ranch...

My son ended up being charged twice because their “computers where stuck in the loop” & they insisted on swiping his card a second time. When he got home & checked his bank account two debits had been made to his account. We made a call to the store & spoke with a manager. We were told to bring the receipt in so they could get the money back to him that they overcharged. Then when we got to the store they refused to refund the second transaction saying that “corporate will have to credit his account back.” Inconvenienced by having to return to the store and then told he will have to wait for corporate to rectify their error because “that’s how they were told to resolve the situation” ... great customer service-make people wait to get the money back that shouldn’t have been taken in the...
