If anyone is thinking of purchasing anything from this place, I assure you that you’re better off going elsewhere. The experience my fiance and I had with these people is a nightmare. A few months ago, my fiance and I went to go ring shopping just to browse what they have. Paula was telling us about different options they had. We came across a marquis ring that was labeled 7200 dollars. Mind you, the ring is worth 2500 at most. Paula being the sneaky sales lady that she is, manipulated us and brought it down to 4 k. She got us good I’ll tell you that. We agreed to apply with the credit card company to pay off the ring. No down payment or anything. Then the next, I notified them that we experienced a family emergency. Paula said “sorry but business is business”. Not giving a damn about anything except her pockets. I told her that we didn’t pay anything and if we can cancel the credit card. She said speak to Ali the owner. Ali told us that all sales are final even though we technically never purchased the ring or put any money down. And all this after ONE day. And a family emergency happened. So Ali said we are stuck with the ring but he can “upgrade” the ring for us. Long story short, I ended up filing a dispute because we were stuck with this ring, Ali was not budging and displayed a total lack of empathy or understanding to the situation, he yelled at my fiance in front of me which he’s very lucky I decided to be the bigger man and held back. And he ended up going against his work and didn’t add any upgrades once the dispute was over. He blocked my number and asking why he didn’t stay true to his word. Ali is a liar. What’s sad is we went to a nearby jewelry store and they all said the same thing about Amaani Jewlers: They take advantage of the people, and they sky rocket their prices for triple of cost price. The lady at the nearby jewler shared a very disturbing story of what they did to another customer.
DO NOT come to this place. They are scammers. Ali claims to be a man of God. Woe to him the day he stands before God. He knows what he did. Save yourself a hastle and don’t think of stepping foot into this place. You will regret it. I pray nobody experiences what my fiance and I experienced with them. We will not be doing business with them for any needed future repairs. They are a disgrace to...
Read moreMy mom and I went to yorktown to walk around/shop and she mentioned her watch needed a new battery. We stopped by here to inquire about it. First off- the employees were chatting amongst themselves and I had to get their attention- we were the only customers there. They called over to a man who apparently replaces watch batteries and he came over to talk to us. He was talking very fast (like a typical sales person) but at the end of our convo he offered to replace the battery for $35. My mom was reluctant but we didn't want to check every jewelry store's pricing so we agreed and wrote our contact info so he could let us know when the watch was ready. As he was writing our info I noticed he wrote the price as well and it was $45. So then I clarified with him- it's $35 right? That's what we agreed to. And he starts rambling off about how $10 is not a big deal to him etc etc and my mom and I were shocked at how clearly he was trying to swindle us. Eventually he accused us of calling him a liar and gave us the watch back so we left. The thing is- $10 is not a big deal but trying to fast talk and swindle your customers IS. We are not dumb women to fall for that. Anyway, we ended up going to the Dakota Watch Company and the gentleman there was very kind and even gave us a coupon since it was our first time getting a service- paid around $20. When it comes to sales whether here or other jewelry places BE CAREFUL and don't get swindled by a...
