The White Barn Candle Co. — Local services in Lombard

I love B&BW and this one in the Yorktown mall is excellent. The store is very large and is set up with body products in the front third of the store, candles in the middle third, and smaller and travel-sized items in the last third. Their signature line is on the walls all around the stores, and the hand soaps are in the back. B&BW always has sales going on, like buy three get one/two/three free for their signature line, and discounts on their candles. Staff greet you and for the most part leave you alone, but sometimes if there are a lot of them and you look interested, they will come and try to sell you things. A warning that the store is heavily scented (you can usually smell it down the corridor), so if you are sensitive to scents you'll want to steer clear. I was so devestated to find the Bath and Body Works in Danada has closed! The next closest location for me is here, in Yorktown Mall. The selection is pretty decent- this spring seems to be tropical themed which isn't my favorite, however I still found the lighter citrus and floral scents I prefer. Their aromatherapy collection is one of my favorites as gifts, and there are adorable gift bags and boxes pre-selected which makes shopping much easier. The staff go out of their way to be helpful which is very important to me because I don't have much of a sense of smell. They always describe the strength and aroma well enough that I am comfortable picking out gifts or something for myself. Plus there is always a buy 2 get 1 deal on most shower...

I love this location!!! All of the staff is amazing and very pleasant to speak with. I have had great conversations with the staff at this store, all of them are kind, focused and a true joy to be around!!! From the second I walk in to the moment I leave I get to speak with people who make me feel welcome and at home. This store is a shinning example of what I think all bath and body works stores should strive to be. Even when they don’t have something in store they will spend the extra time to find it for online.
