The 2 stars are for the few associates that genuinely seem to care about customer satisfaction and quality.
The negative 3 stars are for the jeweler onsite, Christopher, that became upset and left into his office after trying to corner me into rescinding my complaint of the quality of work done on my wedding ring- which I did not. I know what quality jeweler work looks like and what I was given TWICE in ONE SUMMER on the SAME piece should never have passed quality inspection. Nor should the same jeweler have been given my ring seeing as to how he failed to provide quality repair work the first go around.
Now I've been told my ring may be beyond repair due to the work done by said jeweler. I believe anyone in my shoes would've been dissatisfied, to say the least. God forbid it was someone's heirloom jewelry, irreplaceable, that had been taken in for standard tip work only to have it returned with subpar workmanship and told it is beyond hope for that piece of jewelry.
In my 9 years of buying jewelry with Helzberg Diamonds, 6 years with wearing my wedding ring, faithfully getting it inspected and getting any and all necessary repairs done to it, I have NEVER had such issues.
My only other gripe is that both my husband and I got the feeling from both the jeweler and the store manager, at this location, that they just wanted to be done with us and my ring. This is the first series of repairs I've ever had with this store (location was convenient and close to our home) but it will be the last. We picked out the rings a week prior to Christmas and was told that the rings were not in stock and because of the holidays they would not be ready no later than January 4th. 2024 which was in writing. Approximately on December 29th I called to see if they had arrived (you never know). At this point I was told that because of their vendor they wouldn't be ready until 29Jan24. I requested for them to call their vendor and see if they could manage because we delayed our wedding reception upon the "no later than date". Now plans have been arranged and invitations have been sent according to their timetable. I never heard back. I called again on the 3rd and got the excuse that since I have a size 14.5 ring it has to be specially made. The lady I spoke with said her manager wasn't due in until later that afternoon but would have her call me. And you guess it, I never received a return call. At this point I am considering asking for a full refund and going somewhere...
