Great place for deals on clothing, shoes, jewelry, homegoods/wares.
The staff is always friendly, although they run pretty lean. If you need assistance somewhere in the store you're more than likely to have to search for an employee (as they have most running the registers and only a few in actual merchandising).
Other than that, this location is excellent. It is never particularly busy (save particular holiday season events like Black Friday). Usually, I only have 1-2 max other people in front of me in line. The wait never ends up being more than 5 minutes or so; normally I don't even wait at all.
The merchandise selection is large and diverse yet is well chosen, meeting high standards for both quality and style. Moreover, the price point for most merchandise in the store is fantastic, being less expensive than their counterparts in similar (and in brand name) stores.
My advice: Get a Kohl's account. Although Kohl's does not require a membership to shop, the deals they give to their account holders is probably one of their biggest draws. Most of the time I find myself getting savings coupons that reduce my purchase costs by 30% or more.
What's more, these account-holder coupons (that 30%+) can be used in addition to/conjunction with any general savings that are also being offered. Since Khol's is always running a sale on something, at one point or another, you can find really, REALLY good deals on practically...
Read moreSadly this will be the last time I come to this store. Came to pickup an online order and decided to go in to grab it because I had additional shopping. The young lady grabbing the order asked me if I was heading out since they were holding my order by the front door and she could give it to me there. I let her know I had shopping to do and she brought me the box. It was in a large box and she struggled to carry it to me. As she handed to me she chuckled and said "Not sure you want to shop carrying this...?" Umm no, I don't want to shop carrying a large box that I can barely carry. Thank you so much for offering to keep it in customer service. Thank you very much for offering to grab a cart for me. Thank you very much for your customer service. Oh wait, you didn't do any of those things for me so no thanks to you.
The best part is I did try to shop, but realized very quickly that shopping was impossible carrying this thing. As I was leaving the store, the same "helpful" young lady almost knocked me over as I carried my large box out of the store.
Customer service use to be important. It is no longer something companies are pushing their employees to to provide to every customer. It's sad and my money can be...
Read moreI came to do an Amazon return and had planned on shopping a bit as well. I went to the customer service desk which had a sign saying "Amazon returns around the corner" I went to the station with "Amazon drop off" on it and saw a sign saying "Amazon returns at customer service desk." So I asked the lady behind the drop off desk where to go for amazon returns and she rudely said "the customer service desk, that's why my sign is up." I explained that there was two signs, one at each location each directing to the other location. The woman just scowled at me. No apology, no statement of she would look into it. The other lady at the customer service desk was nice, but the one behind the drop off desk was so unnecessariy rude and condescending. As I was walking away from the return, I overheard another employee telling the one behind the drop off desk that there were two signs and the drop off lady then very nicely said "okay, I'll take one down." Not sure why she felt she had to be so rude to me, but it's enough that I think it's important someone speak to her about having the tiniest amount of respect for customers. I won't come back to this Kohl's, I didn't deserve the attitude I received for asking...
