I love Ross! Love it! I walked in with my Purchase from Old Navy! As I passed the greeter (security). SHE IMMEDIATELY GOT ON HER LIL EAR PIECE! I thought that was weird. I then went to the tie section a man passed me his ear piece was loud (i heard do you have her.... i have her). I then walked to the dress section found a cute dress. some one else passed me. Went down another isle I really felt uncomfortable. Then moved on sooner than I wanted to. I go to the lingerie/undergarments section some one else passed me. (OMG USUALLY I HAVE TO TRACK SOME ONE DOWN) As I went to try on my dress I left all extra items with the young man ( he was the most pleasant person/encounter/Experience in the store TODAY) we talked about the dress also I got direction to another item! As I'm looking around I feel weird as in I'm being followed. I cut my shopping short big time. I Then walked up to the counter I hear the security & another employee speaking. Stated she only had 1 item. I asked the cashier who is the manager of this store? She stated Jose! Then she pointed to one of the women standing across the way while I made my purchase. The cashier then asked me would I like to speak with her. I stated No. I'll call back or call Corp. That was soooooooo weird and uncomfortable! I never experienced that! Maybe if I wasn't the color I am (beautiful) or came in @ the time i did or maybe if I didnt go to Old Navy 1st & have my purchase with me or maybe if I had on my work clothes or maybe if I.... you know what I shouldn't have to justify any of that! Let me state this. I work hard so I'm able to buy and shop anywhere I choose to! I dont need to steal ANYTHING! I understand you want to protect the items in your store. I'm all for you watching people. Watching your merchandise! Turn your radios down & be more discreet about how & whom your following! Wow. Don't make people feel uncomfortable as they are shopping. They may not come back. They may protest, they maybe an undercover boss, they maybe law enforcement or even a honest customer that came into your store to buy some new clothes like a pretty...
Read moreWorse Experience at any ross ever!!.. I was waiting in line for my turn to pay... My 3year old starts crying for a candy he saw at the shelve full of candies right next to the line ( i can't understand why they put a shelve full of candies in the line).. Anyways I'm dealing with my kid and I was explaining why he can't eat those candies when the ladie started screaming to me because it was my turn to pay... I heard her and I went to her to pay but she gave me this attitude and I told her why where you screaming to me like that I am dealing with my boy( still crying) It's not like i took all my time..It was just seconds that I took to come to you... She's still give me the attitude and told me well you should of give your turn to the next person if you were having trouble with your kid.. Im like huh???.. Ok I give my turn right now I don't want your service.. You should have better service and if you don't like your job it's not my problem.. So I took my stuff and went back to the line.. Even the ladies at the line told her that she should of have better customer service because they all heard the screaming..( way loud screaming)... After I pay while walking to the exit the security guard told me have a nice day and I told him this experience won't at all..I ask him who was the manager and for my surprise he told me the same girl that gave me the horrible disrespectful service.. Her name is Farrah ... Wow I was in shock I can believe a manager would give those kind of treatments... It was the first time in this location and I really like the stuff in the store but honestly I don't need this kind of treatment in my life... Never...
Read moreI have a disability and I have a service animal that I am not able to carry due to my disability so I rely on shopping carts to be able to transport them from store to store. I was told to leave my cart outside and use one of their carts inside. I told them I can not carry them long distance and that if my cart is taken none of them would be able to watch it for me because they would be to busy; this didn't work for me also their carts are not able to be removed from the store in the instance my cart was taken. I asked to speak with a gm I was deferred to a number I thought was corporate like I asked but I was actually given the store number and was hung up on repeatedly. Ana and Wendy where not able to provide any valuable customer service claiming they where not being discriminatory. If you have enough time to kick someone out with a disability just because they bring an outside cart inside you can help that person by assigning someone to keep an eye on the cart if you are making the guest experience more difficult. There is a sign outside that says they help accommodate guest with disabilities yet they where more quick to argue and have me removed than to be decent...
