Held off a few weeks before leaving a review for this Ashley Furniture location based off of past experiences and this one was just too good to be true right off the bat. We were able to order a sectional with Stella that was out of stock online so we were extremely excited, it was one we had been eyeing for months and it was on a pretty steep markdown online. We were moving very soon and found out Ashley couldnāt ship to our new home⦠or the store thatās nearby, so our sales associate said it would be fine for us to get it delivered to a storage unit. We got a new larger unit for the sectional since we only needed to store it for a day prior to moving, all working out! The day before our delivery we find out we were charged for all 5 pieces ā but our delivery sheet only said 4. We had a hard time contacting the store but finally got ahold of Justin who was able to see that we were charged for all 5 pieces but only were receiving 4, and got the other piece missing to be delivered. Sectional gets delivered to our storage unit today (as Stella, Justin, and the manager on duty that day knew due to us speaking to them about moving and our financing options) and delivery goes as expected. About 30 minutes later we receive a phone call saying itās against policy for them to deliver to storage units and that they need the items back, even though MULTIPLE PEOPLE IN STORE knew we were going to have it in a storage unit for less than 24 hours prior to our movers picking it up. The amount of time spent on hold trying to figure out what was going on was asinine because it seems as though no one really knows what the policies are there. We went back and forth with a manager who insisted on coming to pick it up from a storage unit, then finally said you know what, weāre sorry, I talked to some higher ups and itās fine, itās in your possession now, and that was that.
Upon opening our sectional⦠wow. Out of the 5 pieces I can only say one came in decent condition. 4 of the pieces have HUGE dirt marks on them and one was most definitely a floor model, but Iād even say maybe 3/5 were floor models since they already had the legs attached and noticeable wear. We were under the impression that our sectional would be BRAND NEW, thatās what our sales rep had told us since it was coming from a warehouse. It looks like someone handled every piece with dirty hands and slid them across dirty floors, itās a white sectional so you would think maybe they would be a little careful. Overall an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience. We always give places another chance but weāve given Ashley furniture too many and this will most definitely be our last time shopping here.
*went back and forth with the Customer Service team for almost two months to try to get a solution. It was days before I would receive responses, different people were emailing so no one seemed to know what was going on. We were asked for our new address so someone could attempt to clean the couch off then told they actually couldnāt come due to the fact that we had moved⦠which was stated MULTIPLE times throughout our conversations. Then we were told the store would reach out to us⦠that never happened. Then we were asked to maybe try going to the store for help⦠we live 13 hours away now. Super unrealistic. Once again I was asked to send our address over email so the nearest Ashley store could be contacted to help us⦠that never happened. Finally just decided to clean it ourselves after purchasing a Bissell Little Green to hopefully take care of it without ruining the couch. This company is the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI usually try to avoid leaving bad reviews for any business but unfortunately I have to give Ashley Furniture one of my worst business reviews. I bought most of my furniture at Living Spaces therefore I never had an issue everything great but because I couldn't find a particular style of table I was looking for I decided to try Ashley Furniture. I found the dinning set I was looking for high counter top round table with 4 chairs. I went to the store and saw it, the price was $1799.99 plus 45% discount according to the sales person, plus 10% tax and $100 of delivery. My total was about $1,277, I said it was ok. my husband then saw the Sales Person was charging for an insurance we didn't ask for, so the sales person and customer service made the adjustment. When we received the dinning set we only got 2 chairs, according to the delivery guy they'd only charged us for 2. I drove back to the store the same day it was delivered, so I acted like a new customer and on the dinning set I had bought and asked a second Sales Person how much the dinning set was with four chairs out the door with taxes and delivery, he also gave me a rough estimate of $1300 dollars. If you followed me according to both sales person I had paid for all 5 pieces. I explained to the second Sales Rep what had happened and he to took me to his manager, so I could speak to her, but then she says both Sales People are wrong because each chair was $349, and that we were under charged that's why we only received 2 chairs. The Sales person that sold us the dinning set comes to the picture and explains to the manager that I did purchase the 4 chairs but the manager tells him he's wrong because he assumed the code he enter was for 2 chairs but it was actually only one, long story short. I wanted to cancel and get a refund but when I saw on all the social media reviews how many people were still waiting for their refund and the bad customer service, I had no option but to pay $300 dollars more to get the other 2 chairs that were missing. Each chair was not worth $349 because I've bough enough furniture to know, the manager insisted that the discount was not based on the $1799 they had a secret price on the back of the sign and they also had printed managers special in small writing. I bought more expensive furniture than this but the unethical way they run their business is unacceptable. Two sales people same opinion and the Manager said they were both wrong. Me missing most of my work day to fix this is absurd and then I have to go pick up the two chairs from the Colton Warehouse almost 2 hours away from me. I've seen so many bad recent reviews that they take long to deliver and that they constantly get the wrong item or damage items that I decided to pick up for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have never been fortunate enough to afford brand new furniture until recently. I went in to the store and found a dinning room server, two nightstands and a bookcase that I liked. I asked if they had a matching bed frame that did not have fabric on the footboard and side boards because we have dogs⦠the sales rep Ziyi wang then took me to another area of the sales floor and showed me a bed frame that looked very similar in color and said it would match so I agree to add it to the order. While Ziyi was adding in to our order on his tablet I noticed that it said ādark drownā and looked much darker in the photo on his tablet than it did on the sales floor so I told him that I believed he added the wrong one on our order because all of my other furniture was described as āBrownā not āDark Brownāā¦. He then lied to me and told me that the photos online are AI generated but it would not be that dark and it would match my set. I later discovered from another Ashley furniture employee that the photos are not in fact AI generated and when it was delivered it was so dark it didnāt look cohesive with my other furniture at all. Also the side panel rail was water damaged, one nightstand had a crack underneath that someone in the factory tried to glue back together, three of my bookcase shelves were damaged as well. I spent hours trying to submit tickets and get responses from customer service. I finally got them to agree to send a technician out⦠they offered me three dates so I picked the first available date⦠I had to stay home from work to accommodate the visit only for the technician not to show. I called Customer service and they said that the visit was rescheduled without any notification of this change being sent to me⦠they rescheduled for the very next day thankfully⦠but before ending the call I asked if the technician visiting my home would be taking my bed frame with him when he left since it needs to be returned and is taking up a lot of space and the rep said āYESā. The technician that came the next day was the first helpful person during this awful experience. He told me unfortunately that he is not allowed to take return furniture and he apologized for the Customer service agent who misinformed me. I purchased the furniture on 8/24/25 and Iām being told I will not get my replacement/return taken care of until 9/23/25⦠the amount of time spent trying to navigate the customer service and get what I paid for has been a waste of my life. I will never purchase anything from Ashley Furniture again and I will never recommend them to anyone. The customer service agents are not properly trained on the logistics of the business and the sales people lie to your face to earn...
