To begin with, I had to give this a one star rating since it wouldn't let me give no stars, much less a negative one. Well, to say this was a disappointing meal is a true understatement. We went to dinner on 5 September 2018 at about 7:30pm. My wife ordered the garlic butter fillet and I had the American Burger. Both were ordered medium. The place was perhaps 10% occupied so not busy at all but this was a Wednesday night. Cool we thought, should be great service. It actually took quite a bit for our meal to be delivered. My wife cut into the filet and we were shocked, it was more rare to medium rare...no where near medium. I then cut into my burger, no pink at all. It was well done. Our waitress came over and we asked her if she thought these were medium. Oh my gosh, it was like I asked her to do an algebraic equation, she just looked at the plates. So I asked if she could see any pink in my burger and if the red in the steak even approached pink. Again, deer caught in headlights stare. Luckily the manager came over. She recognized the problem and appeared to be Johnny on the spot and promised she would take care of it. Remember how long the first order took to come out, well we waited and waited and realized this "re-order" was taking longer. It finally came out and we cut into our meats with anticipation. Well, we weren't disappointed...WE WERE DEVISTATED! It was like they took our first plates and re-delivered them to us. They were fresh meals but NOTHING CHANGED!!! The manager came over to check on the meals and we showed the cuts and she appeared shocked. She apologized and said what can we do for you. I flat said this place was recommended and we were so let down. I told her she could not pay us to eat there. I said I know where the front door is and that is where we are headed. They had to eat the cost of both of our terribly prepared meals, probably close to $75 total. The good things were my wife's salad was pretty good, fries were ok and the Honey Blonde beer is good. I will never go back. I won't recommend this place unless you want your food cooked wrong TWICE! My recommendation, go any where...

We saw this and decided to stay because there was no server and a wonderful server, who saw us in the midst of the choas, acknowledged us and told us she would be with us shortly to seat us.
She was running all over the place and still had a huge smile on her face and was super nice to everyone! We ended up lucking out and received her as our server! Her name is Tiara B. If you ever see this woman, request her because you will receive primo service. They were extremely busy and yet she was able to take on the whole bar area (right side of restaurant) because the large party took four servers to man.
I've been in the hospitality industry for over twenty years and Tiara had it going on! She was impressive. She didn't write anything down. That's how you know she's a well-seasoned server! She suggestively sold us on drinks and appetizers after she greeted us. She even had to make my drink, a Margarita Moscow Mule and it was delicious, too. We ended up having the delicious Bourbon Wings for starters. Then she brought out their DELICIOUS house rolls and honey butter. FANTASTIC! We had special requests for our entrees and she nailed it. Not one issue, just perfect. Our Prime Rib and bacon wrapped Filet Mignon was cooked to perfection. We couldn't finish our meals and had to take doggie bags!
During the midst of the lunch rush, one of Tiara's regulars arrived and requested her. She greeted him with a smile and said,"You remember me?" She replied, "Of course, it's been a few years!" He said, " Oh my goodness, you have an amazing memory!". This is how I knew we were lucky to have gotten her
All in all, we will be back for our date nights when we're in the area and want to get away from North Hollywood! Please commend Tiara B. for the excellent job and there should be servers like her everywhere! Thank you, Tiara and we hope you'll be there again...

Having never dined here, I've heard about the free peanuts at the Original Roadhouse Grill, where patrons would snack on them, throwing the shells nonchalantly on the floor. Well, things have changed for the better (aka more hygienic). I had to request the peanuts from the attendant, and she quickly brought me a bag w/ a steel pail waste bin. "No throwing shells on the floor".
Dinner rolls- The pair of complimentary dinner rolls were fresh out of the oven. Flaky, soft, buttery - these were a fine starter ahead of the main.
Original House burger (lettuce-wrapped)- Double patties, cooked medium-rare, onions, tomatoes, pickles, choice of side (coleslaw) & paired w/ thousand island. The Original House burger was juicy. I would've preferred the lettuce stems over the leafy portions, as I found them to be fibrous, but everything else was great. The coleslaw was bright & crispy. I don't like coleslaw overly sauced (ahem, KFC), thus, I greatly appreciated Original Roadhouse's take on it.
Service was good. The young woman attending to me was friendly & hospitable. My meal didn't take long to prepare. Ample seating via tables & booths. Original Roadhouse Grill is located at the Long Beach Towne Centre. In front of the movie theater, next to Lucille's Smokehouse.
Not too shabby, Original Roadhouse Grill. Not too shabby, at all. The $10 promo credit was a great enticement for me to finally come in. I thoroughly enjoyed my Original House burger. Plus, the complimentary peanuts & dinner rolls sufficed to fill this hungry eater up. I'm looking forward to coming back & having a go with more of...
