Case #240829510342
Bank of America Neglects Business Customers and Enables Fraud
I am deeply disappointed and insulted by the way Bank of America has handled my dispute. As a hardworking businessman, I trusted your institution to protect my finances. Instead, your team’s negligence has resulted in my hard-earned money being gifted to thieves on Alibaba.
I purchased a machine from a seller on Alibaba, which arrived defective, broken, and completely unusable. Following protocol, I returned the machine to the seller's authorized representative in Los Angeles 4 months ago. Despite this, your fraud department closed the case in favor of the seller, who has blocked me on Alibaba and stolen both the returned machine and my money.
I reached out to your fraud team numerous times, while the case was open, asking when and how I could provide the necessary evidence to support my claim. Each time, I was told that no evidence was needed and that I would be contacted if further information was required. However, no one ever reached out to me. Instead, the case was closed without any review of the facts or evidence I was ready to provide. This lack of diligence is unacceptable and feels like a direct insult to me and my business.
To resolve this, I have taken every possible step: I sent emails to your fraud department. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). I sent faxes and left voicemails.
To this day, I have received no response from Bank of America. Your negligence has allowed a dishonest seller to profit while leaving me, a loyal customer, in financial and professional distress.
I demand the following: An immediate reopening of my case with a thorough and fair investigation into the evidence I was repeatedly denied the opportunity to provide. A full refund of my funds as the defective machine was returned to the seller. Accountability for your employees who ignored my inquiries and failed to investigate this case properly.
I will not allow Bank of America to disrespect me as a human being and as a businessman. Your institution has failed in its duty to protect my financial interests, and I will pursue all necessary steps, including legal action, to ensure this matter is resolved.
I expect an urgent response to this feedback and demand immediate corrective action.

Read moreI’ve been a Bank of America customer for over 30+ years, and today, I experienced the worst customer service while assisting with my organization accounts. With an appointment that they told us would start 10 mins after the scheduled time (we arrived 15 mins early), the two team members, of which one was a "supervisor," were inexperienced and unprofessional. Aggressive statements such as, “Well, you seem to know better than me,” and accusing one of us of recording them were just one of many negative aspects of this appointment. Not only were we disrespected, but our issue was still not resolved. During our appointment, their team spoke to another customer with the same lack of empathy, understanding, or effort to fix anything. The branch lacks management with appropriate skills, training, or professional etiquette to effectively serve customers. Do not go to this branch if you have common sense, intellect, advanced education, AND a diverse background, though sadly, the representative were as well an unnecessarily on the defense, as a result of their inabilities. I am so disturbed by today's lack of professionalism that I am considering closing my account(s) with BofA. A rating of 1 star is beyond deserving for...
Read moreNearly every time I go to this branch I am discriminated against. There always is a problem why they can't complete the transactions I need. Once they told me that although the name and address on a government issued check matched my state issued drivers license that I could not process the check the government issued check didn't include my middle initial like my license did. Address is a house number not an apartment building. After letting them know that I'm frequently at this bank and that we've actually spoken about our personal lives on multiple occasions with one another, they were able to "override" the problem in their system and offered to complete my service request after all. Obviously they could have done it from the beginning but decided that i was a customer that they weren't interested in helping at that moment. Now anytime I go back and that one specific manager isn't working, another issue arises where they are unable to process my request. Seems like an odd coincidence to me but I never see black people employed in that building so i guess not so odd when you really...
