Really? no one has reviewed Believe yet?? I do not even live in Los Angeles anymore but whenever I come to visit, I LOVE to spend time at Believe. I take the Anti Gravity Yoga classes and TRX. My sibling takes the pole class and Anti-Grav. Its a wonderful brick building with tall wood beam ceilings, a converted warehouse space. The Anti Gravity is the best! The class accommodates up to 12 people I think and you learn how to stretch and strengthen using large silk hammocks that are suspended from the ceilings. I have been with every instructor there and they are each, positive, motivating, inspire trust and confidence, extremely knowledgeable. I have learned how to suspend myself like a bat and and learned moves like the Wonder Woman. You really get to push yourself, learning how to suspend yourself or do a shoulder stand 3 feet above the ground, its a great rush and feeling of accomplishment. I am really picky with both my studio (good safety gear and safety culture) and my instructors (good at technique and understanding/coaching biomechanics). Believe is a large, clean studio with large safety mats, and Melissa is excellent at technique and coaching correct muscle engagement with a lovely, caring attitude. She is also great at modifying the classes for the studentsā injuries or body issues to make it accessible for everyone but still worth while for the more advanced student.
I appreciate them even more now since dealing with a health issue myself. Iāve been taking advantage of some of their Palates classes, while Iām not allowed to do aerial, and Mel has been really great...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAt first, this place looks like a hole in the wall from the outside but don't judge a book by its cover. Inside they have aerial fitness with silks and hoops and hammocks. I'm truly humbled how challenging most of the classes are and its a great way to take your fitness to the next level. The added bonus is the instructors and people there are really nice and very helpful so whether you're a beginner or advance athlete, you'll love it and be addicted...
