Rarely do I think a restaurant is on the "yuck" spectrum, but Hummus Factory is up there. I've never had a more dry, flavorless falafel in my life. Even worse, the hummus, which this place should be known for, was weirdly gooey to the point that I can't imagine they make it themselves.
My wife and I both ordered the falafel plates with hummus, along with the fries as a side. The falafels were among the worst that we had ever had and the hummus was worse than any packaged falafel that you can get at the supermarket. The salad was made of the cheapest vegetables you can find and the bread was subpar as well. I can honestly say that even for food court food, it was one of the worst meals I've ever had, which is ridiculous because you'll spend $10+/person here.
Pass this place up. Even with a Groupon, you'll wish you went...
Read moreThe hummus factory! It was difficult to find a fast casual option and semi-healthy restaurant in the Promenade at Howard Hughes Center. I don't recommend this place if you are in a hurry. The only positive is the server was very friendly and it for fill my need for...

Food will cost you about $6-$15 (sandwiches to entrees). I got the gyro plate which came with hummus, salad, pita bread and the gyro of course along with yogurt sauce. The gyro wasn't bad although the hummus was disappointingly blander and too soft.
The dining area is pretty small too although the heater is nice during the cold days. A tarp separates the restaurant from the...
