Upon arriving at Dermaster Medi Spa I was greeted by a super friendly receptionist who checked me in. I had never gotten a facial before so I was a bit nervous and unsure of what to expect. She assured me that it would be a gentle process for my skin as she led me into the treatment room where my esthetician awaited me. I forget her name but she was very sweet and made sure to tell me exactly what she was doing during the facial. The dimly lit room felt extremely relaxing as it played soothing ambient music, lulling me into a relaxed state.

My absolute favorite part during my entire experience was the cooling CyroStamp near the end of my facial; it literally felt like a smooth mound of ice gliding across my face that was deeply soothing my skin. It was such an amazing sensation that I can't wait to book another appointment. If someone had told me that facials were this amazing I would have started getting them long ago! I can't stop thinking about how RADIANT my skin feels after my facial. A week later and I'm still getting compliments on my skin's new luster and glow. I came here for my first Ulthera treatment and I could not be happier with my experience. The clinic is located in the Shinhan Bank building on the 3rd floor. The place is clean, and the staff greeted me right away. I shared my concerns about saggy skin under my chin and wanting more jawline lift and definition, and the consultant Christine recommended Ulthera, which they specialize in. She explained everything clearly beforehand, including the shot count they would be using for me.

My nurse Surin was so sweet and gentle. She made me feel comfortable even though I was nervous, since I had heard Ulthera could be painful. With the numbing cream it honestly just felt like tiny finger snaps on my face, much less than microneedling.

The whole process, including numbing, the treatment, a little lifting Botox under the chin, and a collagen mask, took about an hour. It was so quick, and I could already see a difference right away. They explained that results build even more over 3 to 4 weeks, so I am excited to see continued improvements.

I went for Botox a couple of times because they were charging $7.00 per unit. However, I found out that they were not only charging for a higher number of units for the areas than require but that they were not applying it to the areas. They would poke me or pretend they were injecting the Botox but in fact they just put in the needle. When I called to complain that there was no difference or hardly any difference to the areas, they said I needed to wait longer even if it was after the seven days that it takes for Botox to work. Instead of giving me a free touch up, they charged me more when I went in again. They said they had not charged me for enough units. In the end I was paying more money than if I had paid $12.00 per unit somewhere else and hardly any Botox injected.
