I’ve had a variety of treatments here over the past few months, including facials, Inmode, and Emsculpt, and each experience has exceeded my expectations. [Updated 02/13/2023] I received a call from the owner the day after I posted my previous review and I AM CHANGING MY 3-STAR REVIEW (below) TO 5-STARS for the following reasons:

CALL-TO-ACTION: As soon as I posted my review, I received a call from the owner of the shop. She was apologetic though not surprised as it was her first experience using the Groupon marketing tool as a vendor and it was a total mess.

PROPOSAL. They insisted that I come in and try their service again. After some back-and-forth and consulting with family (I had some lingering resentment and it’s a bit of a drive for me in this L.A. traffic), I decided to go back and take the risk and try them again.

RESOLVE: I asked for the treatment that I initially signed up for so that I could give an accurate and honest review and that’s what I got. I have a newfound respect and admiration for CKE Skincare and its management. They manned up, took constructive feedback, and did something about it. I appreciate that so much.

This appears to be a medical clinic attached to a surgical center. The treatment is focused on producing results. They have medical-grade machines and skin care products that they use on their clients. They document their process, before and after, with photographs and update everyone’s records. Though this sounds clinical, they made the experience feel like a spa vacation spot. Everyone is treated professionally. You're not rushed. They have a clean, zen-like waiting room with a cushy sofa and a long coffee table with bite-sized pre-packaged luxury brand chocolates. All the rooms have nice lighting, and there are some light amenities to freshen up, and you get bottled water to go!

Btw, there's a treatment room with two beds, so you can bring a friend. There's also a single bed one too if it's just you.

CONCLUSION: I left as a very happy customer! The experience was serene and peaceful. Thank you, Ellen, Hwayoung (sp?), and Angie for a memorable visit. My happy skin and I look forward to seeing you all again soon!

I can’t say enough good things about CKE Skincare. I ended up purchasing two separate packages — one after another — to address different concerns just in time for my wedding, and it was truly the best experience ever!

Amid all the stressful moments of wedding planning, I found myself genuinely looking forward to each appointment. I always left feeling happy, relaxed, and well taken care of. The team didn’t just create a personalized treatment plan that worked — they were also incredibly warm, thoughtful, and kind every step of the way.

Ellen is a wonderful person! She’s genuinely caring and always has your best interest at heart. Every time she saw me, she would excitedly announce my wedding like it was the first time — it felt like we were celebrating all over again, and that joy was infectious. Being around her positive energy always lifted my spirits. She once said her wish is for you to feel like the most beautiful and happiest version of yourself — and she absolutely made that happen for me. I was glowing on my wedding day (literally)!
