Fantastic Sams Cut & Color — Local services in Los Angeles

The hairdresser destroyed the hair of my niece and she and the owner blamed my niece by saying its her fault for not telling them that she bleached her hair more than a year ago. Unbelievable, that they put the blame on my niece and its the hairdresser’s responsibility to ask her if she had bleached her hair before even doing anything on her hair first. I don’t think this hairdresser even went to school for doing that kind of job. How in this world will she bleach the hair three times in just an hour. That’s crazy!!! That was why my nieces hair were all cut out and most of them fell off when she combed her hair. My gosh!!! My niece even told her to color more strands of her hair and she answered “No”. What kind of hairdresser is it to go against what the customer wants to happen in her hair. So mean!!! My niece just wanted to cry because she couldn’t express her dissatisfaction and unhappiness on how her hair came out. She will be suffering for months to let her hair grow and feeling uncomfortable with her hair right now. Such an unprofessional hairdresser to do things like that to an innocent child. I went there one other time prior to my visit today . I WILL NOT BE RETURNING and I will be filing a lawsuit for my 225.00 ! I got highlights and A BLOW DRY . No flat iron no nothing !!!!! When I called this morning she told me the price would be 95 total . My first visit I only paid 45 and I got a wash , trim and flat iron. The place literally false advertises prices ! She put toner in my hair WHICH I DIDNT ASK FOR AND CHARGED ME FOR THAT !!!!!! She also charged me 50 dollars for something I DIDNT ASK FOR !!!!!!!!!!!! Which was dark color on my ends . I am very disappointed because I actually liked this place !!!!! I also paid cash and she gave me a paper receipt with her hand writing ! I absolutely love the color and that’s it . Just awful. I attempted to give Fantastic Sams another chance since the last time I went to one they butchered my hair and refused to fix it. I walked 10 minutes to go to this Fantastic Sams only to be greeted with a sign that says, "Must tip in cash" -which isn't suspicious at all (sarcasm). Also, a $2.00 surcharge on using a check card. Really?! In 2022?! I left and the owner was walking back in. I told him not to charge $2 if somebody needs to use a credit card and started walking away. He insisted on confronting me aggressively. I responded in kind. If anything, with the way things are right now he should have at least tried to assuage my concern but no he wanted to be right. Seriously, go anywhere else.
