After waiting over 20 minutes for someone to help me, I handed this swatch of “sleek white“ to a surly associate, who then proceeded to punch in the wrong code. They entered “safety white” which was clearly a mistake as that swatch doesn’t even exist so how could the associate type in the swatch that we gave them when they entered the code that doesn’t exist on a swatch in the store? We then came back to the store and met with Brenda who was extremely dismissive and combative, and tried to blame us for not double checking the color code upon exit. When we pointed out as well as additional associate pointed out that the swatch for safety white doesn’t exist, and therefore it absolutely had to be the other associates error. She reluctantly gave us the contact information to their insurance company. We were promised the insurance company would follow up in 2 to 3 business days. After repeated request for updates for over two weeks, we received an AI generated response from the insurance company that they’re not responsible. We had paid over $2000 to have our home professionally painted and this is not right whatsoever. It’s clearly the results of a lazy associate who doesn’t like their job and doesn’t care and now our house has the wrong paint color and there’s nothing we can do this is not right. I’m hoping somebody higher up at Home Depot sees this and does the right thing and works with us

I rented a tool and they gave me melted batteries. I come right back to change it and the staff start scorching me saying you are negligent and you did this, we will charge you for damaging equipment, all to distract from them never checking the product before it was handed out. One of the batteries was never charged and it too was melted, how can I melt something that was never used. they said that the job was too big for the equipment and that I overworked it. Then They gave me new batteries : if you think I melted the batteries and that I’m doing a job that is too big for the equipment. Why would you give me a new set of batteries? And for the same equipment ! when I come back I tell the manager Cedric, and he takes me in front of the employee who gave me the faulty equipment and the employee starts to confront me and accuse me of being untruthful and saying again that I damaged the battery. Just a horrible experience. Lack of consideration for people's health and wellbeing , lack of respect. What if the faulty batteries would have caught fire or blown up or electrocuted someone?!

We purchased a refrigerator with extended warranty. About a year later it malfunctioned. We contacted Home Depot and opened a service ticket for repair. That was in July of 2021. They sent out four different repair technicians. All four of them would come over. Claim they need to order a part and you never hear from them again. Two of them claimed they fixed it but didn’t. In the mean time I’m trying to get anyone on the phone at Home Depot that can do something. It finally took them from July of 2021 until late February 2022 to finally give us back the money to get a new refrigerator.

I wanted to take a moment and tell you a tale of two companies. 14 months ago we bought GE water heater from home depot. Two days ago the water heater went out. The Gas Company Workman told us these certain water heaters are nightmares and there are some serious issues with them. We called GE and they said they would overnight us the parts for free, but if we had bought the water heater more than a year ago we would need to pay the labor. We couldn't find our receipt so we called David (a manager) at our local Home Depot in West Hills. He was so helpful! He spent time explaining that GE should pay for the labor because it was under warranty and telling us to call them back and speak with a supervisor. Needless to say we kept getting the runaround at GE. When I called David back, he went through our credit card, found the receipt and explained our options. He said that we could return the water heater at a prorated amount or we needed to look at how much they would charge for the labor. When I tried to call GE back to obtain this info, they had closed early! Two nights of cold showers were getting to all of us, so I called David back. He was so kind, caring and empathetic. Unlike GE he was willing to go above and beyond. Thanks to David we are bringing the water heater back and should have hot showers within the next few hours. Thank you home depot so much for having managers like David who are so willing to really listen and HELP!!!!!! We will no longer be buying GE products but we will definitely be lifelong Home...

I went to Home Depot to buy an AC and paid $382.16 and when I got home I realized that it was missing installation parts and I went to the store to have the unit replaced and in the return line there were only two people attending and no one. customer and I stood in line to wait for them to help me two more customers arrived and stood behind me and then two employees arrived and started helping the two people behind me I didn't say anything and I stayed waiting and another customer arrived and they started To serve the customer, I approached an employee and told him that I had been waiting for how long and he told me that because I was too far ahead that's why he didn't serve me and one of the customers who got in front of me had the nerve to He told me that I wasn't in line and I told him not to get involved in what he didn't care about and he told me that he was going to have me taken out of the store and in the end he didn't have the guts to do it and Cristhen started telling me I had to calm down but she couldn't calm down the customer she was serving so I told her that I wasn't going to calm down and that they would only give me my money back and I would go buy somewhere else. My experience was disappointing neither Cristhen nor the other employee knows. How to tend to customers the only thing they do is leave a bad image of Home Depot to customers for me they don't deserve...
