Update 2023... customer service and management is horrible... specifically Amy.. in need of management skills...
I wish I could give no stars... Worst customer service I ever experienced at a Ross store... The guy in front literally followed me around because I asked him to try on a pair of shoes without the alarm..then he told me that I couldn't walk around in them... I don't know of any ladies that buy heels nowadays without strolling around a bit.. bc that's literally what I did..I wasn't walking around the store..I stayed between the register area and the shoe section... In addition I came in the store to view the costume jewelry that I wasn't able to look at bc the key wasn't working... Or is everyone just tired on this beautiful Saturday night? Store was very messy! If you are a black person...stay away from this location...hmmm...even though in reality he is of color as well..however we have those who still live in their own world... I guess it made him nervous for me to try on a pair of $35 shoes...the only reason I looked at the shoes is bc I couldn't get what I stopped in for...costume jewelry!!!!!!!! Im glad he made me feel like I didn't belong there bc in reality I actually didn't...cmon I took off my Versace flip flops to try on those BCBGs ......

Was a little disappointed to find the store was very unorganized, dirty and messy.
As I went to check out the line's were pretty long 20+ ppl I'd say. However, there were two cashier's working, so, I thought the line should move fairly fast. As I stood waiting in line to check-out I noticed one of cashier's name "Leslie" left her checkstand area and went and stood at the jewelry area and just stared at us 20+ppl waiting in line to check out. So, I was next in line to check out as I got up to the cashier, (named "mellie"? "melly"?) I ask why Leslie the other cashier had left her register to stand to stand near the jewelry area. Mellie, said to me if you worked here you would know! I then said excuse me, what does that mean?? And she then told me if I wasn't so rude she would tell me what Leslie was doing. At this point I'm beyond confused not sure what she was talking about seems to me she was medicated.
Won't be coming back to this Ross again. They really need to update their...

I went back-to-school shopping for my child and found a backpack that they were charging for $12.99. They claimed the original price was $18.99, but the original tag that came with the backpack said the price was $9.99. I took it up to the cashier after waiting what felt like an eternity and asked for the $9.99. She said she would call a manager to approve the price, but loss prevention said no manager was available. He told me that the price Ross gave was final despite the cashier arguing that Ross has a sign saying they had the lowest prices and that they shouldn't be overcharging people.
Unfortunately, I was too annoyed and frustrated to deal with taking pictures for evidence, so I left with my child without the backpack Ross was...
