Starbucks is my trusted "go to" for a quick early morning or late afternoon energizer. And the fact is that Starbucks is the only place that I can get my favorite Starbucks' original creations... Like their thick and frothy Caramel Frappucino, customized to my specifications, ordered and paid for using the Starbucks app on my smartphone. Which assures my order will be right each and every time. Even when I send my boyfriend to go pick it up. It's a true no-brainer. There may be imitators but at the end of the day, who wants an imitation when you can have the original for a better deal? Especially when you participate in Starbucks Rewards. It's easy and the stars really add up quickly and that means I'm getting something significant for FREE (my usual freebee is a full size order of their delicious Coffee Cake for only 50 stars) almost everytime I go to Starbucks. And Rewards just keep stacking up if you dont use them. They never expire. For your favorite specialty coffee drink concoctions, bistro style sandwiches and lunch boxes to fresh roasted coffee beans ground to your specifications and other seasonal favorites along with gifts that are never forgotten, you can't beat your local Starbucks for a taste of Seattle...

Let me preface this by saying I rarely give negative reviews unless it's pretty bad, and this is one of them. I needed an afternoon pick me up and all my local coffee shops were already closed so my only choice was a Starbucks on the way to where I was going. I can say I was disappointed by the really really slow service. When I walked in there was only one person in front of me that ordered maybe 2 drinks and there were 2-4 other people already inside waiting for drinks with 3 baristas. It took at least 15-20min to get my 1 cold brew nitro. And in that same time there were at least 7-8 different people that ordered after me, who knows how long they ended up waiting because it also looked like mobile orders were coming in and clearly being prioritized. Pro tip: whenever possible, support local and small businesses to avoid this...

It's very small inside, but plenty of seating outside, considering the shared space with Jamba Juice. The service is good, nothing spectacular. The drinks are not up to par though. I don't know if it's the baristas or if they use a different roast, but the espresso here tastes a little bitter and burnt. I've gotten caramel macchiatos here plenty of times, with regret 75% of the time. It's close to my house, so when I'm running (literally), I'll stop at this one. * yes, it kinda defeats the purpose of running, but that's besides the point. ...anyhow, I recommend making an extra mile drive to the Platt location. They are always good, and the baristas are all super cool. Ditto for the one at the Topanga plaza and further north on Topanga...
