Royal Donuts — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Stumbled onto this Gem. Right off the bat the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere felt like I had gone over to a family member's house for lunch. The donuts were surprisingly great which is not often the case when I go to donut shops, couldn't find a mediocre donut. A big surprise for me was the breakfast sandwiches. They were all made fresh after I ordered and were some of the best I had in a long time, even heated up later that night. Parking is a mess but the donuts and sandwiches were a home run. This is the best place in the valley, I was a regular here for a couple years I’d say especially the last year before I moved. I had moved and had not been back for 4 months. I came in and started ordering my usual and the owner finished my order for me. And then said long time no see. Service is incredible they are very kind people and I have seen them deal with some very annoying people at times. The donuts are great the number 7 sandwich is amazing and the strawberry banana smoothie with boba is my go To. Please support them times are hard for business right now and they deserve...

My first time trying the donut at this place was horrible. That was three days ago. I got there at almost 6am and hoping to get fresh warm donut for breakfast. But instead I got cold, dried, and mushy donut that tasted like it’s been week old. It didn’t satisfy me with money and time I spent. It was bit disappointed. I don’t think I will go there second time. Will not recommend.

Update: I decided to give it a second chance at 6am with no expectations. And I was right. It still tasted the same and after few bites and couldn’t finish it....
