LA-Z-BOY HOME FURNISHINGS had excellent Google reviews, so we drove over to their West Hills store to take a look and try a few chairs.
Their massive display floor is filled with furniture vignettes. All are available to "test drive." You know: press buttons, check the back support, understand the features, feel for comfort, and try to imagine how this new furniture will fit our life style.
Our salesperson, Joy, spent over two hours showing us reclinering chairs, loveseats, and couches. She helped us pick features and colors. Joy demonstrated the difference in foam paddings by having us sit on several floor samples. There are large fabric swatches to make color selection easier. It took us a couple of hours of sitting, button pushing, and comparing to reach a decision.
Construction of our custom made loveseat will take six to eight weeks. It will be delivered and setup in our home.*
I am not an attorney, but as read it, their warranty covers one year on manufacturing defects, five years on motors and labor. Mechanical parts are covered by a lifetime warranty.

When are furniture arrived one of the couches was damaged. When I went back to store I was told that I needed to call comfort care, they handle the warranty claims. First technician canceled on us on the day of repair. Then had to wait another two weeks for the second technician to arrive. After he attempted to repair pulled stitching on the corner of the couch it looked way worse than when he started. Called comfort care again to voice my disappointment. Told them that they needed to replace left sectional to make it right. They said no and shipped a piece of leather and scheduled for another technician to repair in the middle of my living room.
