Fallbrook Center — Local services in Los Angeles

Thankful for this complex having a well-run Wal-Mart, where a staffer helped me find dog treats (only $13 for a box of 100 large-sized dog Milk Bones!), and then being able to eat at the friendly Hometown Buffet to finally sate my hunger after a long day! Friendly Hometown Buffet hosts & servers also told me not to rush in eating (I got there around 8pm on a Thursday night) since they'll only start putting away the buffet items at 845pm. I tend to go here before or after work appointments in for affordable personal errands. The diverse staffers throughout the various Fallbrook Center establishments (fyi I've also had positive experiences in the Olive Garden, Ross Dress for Less, Sprouts, etc.) are all friendly, competent professionals. A welcoming retail/dining/service complex w/ lots of parking (as long as you don't mind walking a bit, depending on what you're looking for), where fellow consumers are generally polite, relaxed people - not like other multi-use centers where too many tweakers, aggressive peddlers/panhandlers, angry-at-the-world/narcissistic, etc. folks seem to converge. So, even though I take long work trips from all over LA/Ventura County, I do my best to relax, eat, and shop at the ever-reliable Fallbrook Center when work projects takes me to the West San Fernando Valley/Venturw...

Center needs more security. Syringes found in parking lot and large number if transients and people asking for mo ey not food or clothing but money. Center is large and has many secluded areas. High vehicle break-ins. I only shop in daylight as most stores cannot provide security out to your vehicle if you are shopping alone. AND there is a Chuck E Cheese pizza restaraunt and game centet for kids at thus location along withva movie theater yogurt store Wallmart Target Ralphs Starbucks and Home Depot all located here with only one or two security guards in the entire parking area. If they improve that with the holidays coming soon then businesses would thrive and residents that surround the Center would have a safe and secure...
