Nice clothes sold by pretentious posers
You walk in and are told what you canāt do, which I understand is due to COVID regulations.
What I donāt understand are the 3 guys lined up as the three stooges, trying to be cool and pretending they are the personification of wisdom, laughing at the back of their customers.
There is a huge difference between being cool and wanting to be coolātheir staff still needs to learn this lesson.
Last but not least, they should also learn that they are still service industry employees. As cool a brand might be, they seem to have forgotten that ultimately, the stuff they are selling pays for their salary.
Running around explaining that they are risking their lives to sell a bunch of T-shirts is sad in two ways: -) The fact that they seem to be forced to do this dangerous and unforgiving task of selling stuff.
-) the fact that it is so important to them that they have to put their lives at risk so they can still be cool and identify themselves and their precious lives through that.
I wonder if any other service-oriented staff member feels the same way. Is the whole world forcing store clerks to work because we canāt live another day with yet another colorful T-shirt in our drawers?
In short: Nice brand, but awful staff members...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was very excited to go into the store, it was my very first time going and I just couldn't wait to go in and buy some items. When I got there the security guy told me the rules which were understandable. I spotted the Golf sweater I wanted... this is where things started going terrible.. I asked one of the guys there for the Orange Golf sweater, he rolled his eyes at me went to the back and got me the green sweater. When I told him I had said the orange sweater he started arguing with me about how I had said the green one. He rolled his eyes again went to the back and got the orange one. I then had to ask him for a beanie, he then asked me very rudely if he was going to need to get me anything else. Once I was paying for my items he went up to his other co-worker and started telling them how done he was with everything. Well if he's done with everything then why is he still working there in customer service!! in a store where they literally don't let you touch anything, no prices anywhere, therefore you HAVE to interact more with the customers. This person literally ruined the experience for me, he was absolutely terrible. Can't believe Tyler would let these kind of people...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm giving it a three for these reasons. First of all it's a great store, i love GOLF and Tyler and seeing the store was great. I didn't get to see him though, because he's touring in Europe right now. The employees were very chill and polite(except this one employee came up to my mom and said she had a cool accent and creeped us out a little bit). The downsides were, they only let about 5 people at a time in even though the store is big enough to hold at least 10 to 15 people, you can't touch your phone, you can't touch the clothes on display, the workers act like the clothes are made of gold or something. They try to make the store more than it is since it is fairfax and supreme is down the street from them. When we went the only thing they had were just hats and accessories, they should at least tell us what they have and don't have when we enter the store, they said in a couple weeks they will restock so most likely I will be back. I recommend just buying online, but you will have to pay 10...
