I have tried to give this place a benefit of the doubt several times but after two horrific incidents, I will never spend my money here again. • The heavyset, short-haired older Hispanic woman at the cash register was extremely rude and agressive (both with me and the customer she was yelling at on the phone.) She seems to be sarcastic, impatient and triggered, not someone suited for customer service. I’m honestly very confused how she was ever hired to interact with customers. • Another time a young male employee who was “cleaning up early because he didn’t get paid overtime” grabbed the items I was already intent on purchasing and even tried to move my personal bag that I hung on the rack as I tried on clothes. Oh yeah, be prepared to have them literally scream at the top of their lungs at everyone in the store that you have 15 minutes to get out because they are closing. • The treatment of customers here is horrendous and extremely unprofessional. Donate your clothes and give your business to an establishment that treats people, especially paying customers with respect. (Obviously not this one) Stay away. Far away...
Read moreThis is where I find the best deals the always have quality thrift finds for personal pleasure and reselling unique pieces. With this being said they are a bit higher priced so I’m much more selective but I also never seem to buy junk I don’t need it’s always pieces I end up in love with. Also the refreshing part is that they give employees the power to reasonably barter the price if there’s a logical issue with something being way over priced or defective. They won’t let you get away with unwarranted price drops by any means but again they are able to apply logic and decide if your request is legitimate right there on the spot. They don’t need to run in back and wasting time asking permission from a manager like they do at most Goodwill’s. Like usual I found a few great pieces and was granted the one price reduction I requested due to an unnoticed flaw. Thank you for understanding logic and hiring great people who are able to carry this out for granting your employees with the power to retain clients for the greater good of the company. Always a pleasure giving such a great company...
Read moreA horror story. I phoned as I was approaching the store, because it was close to closing time. The woman who answered the phone said they were closed. They were NOT closed. I saw that the door was open as I pulled up to the curb. A man came out and closed the door in my face!! The next day, I called early to advise that I would be coming with donations and not have the same experience again. I was told they only accept donations PRIOR to 30 minutes before they close. I had to leave work extra early to get there on their schedule. Who is supposed to be helping whom? Finally, I got an audience with the gatekeeper. I had ten CDs/books on tape. These are the books that I listen to during my daily commute to and from work. The books I bought are current best sellers, not things that have been languishing on a shelf for years. I paid $30 - $45 per book, listened to them once, and am now donating. Without looking at them to see that they are books released within the past few weeks, she offered me $1.50 tax receipt. Unbelievable. Terrible experience....
