Unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy the store once I noticed the security officer either crossing each aisle I was in or placing herself at the end of the aisle watching. At first, I gave the benefit of the doubt that she was doing her job, but where is the line drawn between doing your job and making someone uncomfortable? As I headed to walk out of the store, passing security, she asked to check my bag. When asked why? Her response was it wasn't personal; she was doing her job. I asked if she had checked the bags of the individuals who walked out before me. Which was not; instead, she repeated she was doing her duty. When I asked what's the company policy on checking bags, and pointed out she didn't check other bags, especially those that continued to walk by. No clear answer besides she's doing her duty. I let her check my Whole Foods bag filled with groceries because I had nothing to hide. I vocalized that I noticed her following me as soon as I entered the store. Again she is just doing her duty, is her response. I said, ok, well, I'll stay and observe you continuing your "duty".After standing in the front to observe security and interactions with other customers, security moved from the front door.I walked through the store to locate security, and she was nowhere to be found for about 20 minutes. In that time frame I've witnessed individuals with a variety of bags come in and out the store but noones bag got checked. I hate to think I was singled out due to my race. Or is Miniso against...
Read moreDon’t go there if you’re in a wheelchair. I went there with my daughter and the security guard there was insisting on lifting her wheelchair up the 3 steps. I tried to tell him her wheelchair was too heavy and we were not comfortable with it. He just kept trying to lift it. There was literally a ramp sitting right there for him to use. Just like the security guard at Line friends (Who was very nice and professional) used with no problem for us. But I guess this guy just didn’t feel like getting the ramp out and opening it up and putting it down for us. So I just told him that we would come back Later just so we could get the heck out of there. We of course did not go back later. When we were walking to the store, he and another security guard were standing outside of the store talking. they stopped us on the sidewalk to say hi and first I thought they were just being friendly, but they got really aggressive and completely in our personal space hitting on my daughter. We were both completely grossed out and really very disappointed that these security guards were so...
Read moreI wish I could give zero stars to customer service. The store itself is so cute and has so many unique things that my kids were amazed at every thing. BUT I have NEVER experienced such disrespect in my life. They shouldn't have a person like that working in a place of customer service. My aunt, my two little kids and I were looking at some merchandise In the aisle. This African American worker was walking towards us and said excuse me and we didn’t hear her the first time. But mind you that there was enough space for her to pass by. She began to not say but yell at my kids and aunt to move. I was so shocked on the situation that happened, I literally had no words. There was no reason for her to yell so loud to move out the away when clearly there was enough space for her to walk by. Maybe I don’t know if she was having a bad shift but that was very unnecessary for her to do. They need to retrain her about how to speak to people because clearly...
