Some good things and some not so good really. I always like to end on a high so I'll start with the bad - the prices are really quite steep, yes you are paying for the location and the brand and the very-50's authenticy of it all, but three of us paid out almost $85 for food, and one only had water and shared a fries and no desserts!! Then there's the fact that the burger was REALLY greasy, so much so I had to wash my hands thoroughly afterwards. Also I really don't like the melted cheese they use on things in America, there are so many better choices, it tastes cheap and bland. Not unique to JR's so fair enough. We also felt quite rushed, yes it is a busy restaurant in the heart of Hollywood, but we're spending good money, let us sit and let our food settle a bit guys. For the positives, the staff were friendly and very quick with service, but I think they have to be. The food was generally good and very tasty. My partners salad was very good. The staff all danced to an old classic which was great fun. All in all, I'd only recommend if you want a proper diner in that location, and don't mind spending a small...

This place is disgusting¡ And the service is bad¡ I was warned though and for it to be in the Ovation at Hollywood you would think at least the service was better than what I received on my visit! No one said a word to me and my friend for 25 minutes. Then when they finally come and take our order they got it wrong 5 times for 4 items...... A chili cheese tot, order of cheese fries, onion rings and a burger a single patty the way it is extra mayo ... Oh and 2 drinks. We say there and additional 45 minutes to finally get a tot and 2 drinks and the waitress still tried to be slick sand charge us for a burger and cheese fries and onion rings that we never even saw...... And they need to clean up it was nasty and oily behind the counter we sat at we sat and lost our appetite made her correct the check and left never again.... I'll go across the hall to Dave and busters and just spend that bread to get fed..... Johnny can keep...

Apparently us tourists get treated like we are stupid. Don’t go here unless you want to be treated like idiots! They messed up my order and gave my family meat when we are vegetarian and I was charged the extra $3 or something to make everything plant based. The GM doesn’t answer or is never working and the manager I spoke to Marvin or Jose something like that very heavy Mexican accent, argues loudly with me saying we serve 800 people and no one complains. Haha the 4.3 says otherwise after reading past reviews. He also acted childish and told me to come by in person and say stuff to his face wow very professional.
