The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I tried to use the bathroom and I was told i had to buy first by one very unpolite mani in his 40 years behind the cashier. I told him that I was in a emergency for the restroom and that i would like to pay and eat after I use the batroom . HE TOLD ME.TO GO TO THE RESTROOM AND THOSE WHERE HIS WORDS : JUST GO AND YOU DONT NEED TO BUY ANYTHING OK .. JUST GO HE SHOUTED .. AFTER I LEFT THE RESTROOM I SAID THAT I WANT A COFFE AND A TOAST AND HE TOLD ME THAT HE WOULDNT SElL TO ME THAT I SHOULD JUST LEAVE THE PLACE .I AM FROM SAO PAULO Brazil . Minutes before I walk in there my wife shouted at the front door to me in the sidewalk while i was entering the place in portuguese -she just told me that she would stay across the street in a store . I felt a xenofobic vibe there . Also I saw in my way out 3 guys inside the place with shaved bald heads and tatoos .. i am not sure .. but they looked as skin heads .. the air was dry and hot inside . I felt humiliated ... i didnt made any fuss or complained because i was a tourist and not a town residente. I have traveled to 25 different countries and i have never seen in my life nowhere this kind of.treatment. I hope that the Police check the place once in while because that place could be one radical skin head hang out spot... the employes and Manager there are rude and they sound predjucious and xenofobics . McKayla or however it's spelled does not need to be in customer service and also needs to learn her frickin manners. I literally asked for an iced white mocha and she told me "Ummm.... white chocolate is a flavor. Do you mean a white chocolate latte with ice?" Then I said noooo...... a literal iced white mocha. And she said "I actually work here, and that's not a thing". Haha okay then.... Well. It is. Google it girl. Or order it at starbucks or dutch bros or black rock coffee. Honestly she was so rude that I actually didn't order anything and felt compelled to write a review. Train your employees better and also teach them some appropriate customer service instead of being pompous and snobby. I will never come back here literally because of her. My friend's coffee was great! Will I ever come back? No.

While walking at Hollywood Walk of Fame, I saw Starbucks & felt craving for cold coffee but at the same moment aura of The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf caught my attention (which was just on the other side of the road) & I thought why not try some other coffee. First of all I loved the vibes of modish interior but unfortunately I couldn't enjoy coffee there because of Covid SOPs. Anyways we had ice blended in Oreo n Cream, Double chocolate Mocha and Caramel(didn't try hot coffee). All were amazingly tempting. I liked Double Chocolate Mocha the most. Frankly speaking I found these much much better than Starbucks. I don't like the half diced ice cubes in Starbucks' ice blended coffees which also dilute the flavor. But there at The Coffee Bean, ice was well blended that you hardly can feel them except the freezing chill. I badly miss this coffee chain here...
