I had a pretty smooth experience! I just got new insurance and requested labs during my first doctor's appointment. I had no appointment on a Monday afternoon, walked in to thankfully an empty lobby (3 other ppl). I checked in on the tablet and tried to outsmart the system (made a later appt AND waited in lobby to see if they can take me earlier). When the tech poked her head out (Saray Camacho), she addressed those who were waiting to make sure the queue list was accurate. She identified some discrepancies right away and assisted a couple of people with checking in. Then I came up. My appointment was for 320pm, and it was 215pm, lobby empty. I asked if I could be seen earlier, and I could tell she really wanted to say yes, but their protocol is to only see patient's during their appointment time. The manager was present, and decided to make an exception for me this one time. Saray was funny, down to earth, and made getting blood drawn a comfortable task.
Key takeaways: I got lucky with my walk-in experience. I recommend making an appointment, and showing up 5-10 mins before. They are doing their best, and trying to be as efficient as...
Read moreEpitomy of inefficiency, the website and phone system is not user-friendly. They have digital check-in, had an appointment at 9:30, got there at 9:05, and checked in the digital station. Input my name, birthday, got a response informing me couldn't find my name, phone number and next available appointment at 11:20. I've been fasting as required by my primary Dr. got a little dizzy, so I left. Good thing I brought some snacks. And y'all wonder why Trump, RFK Jr., and DOGE are doing what they're doing. Total waste of my time. Probably waste of taxpayer money, too, if you're on medi-care or LA care. Not much parking, if you're lucky you can find metered parking, or pay $10.00 and up. Lastly, from what I see on the reviews, " Si no quiere trabajar aqui busca otra trabajo mejor para ustedes". This is called the service industry, where you try to provide good service. I get that some people are just rude, crude, and impolite, but it's the job you chose, no? Hope your...

They've literally put a wall in front of the desk that used to be there so it's impossible to get help from a human being anymore. You can only check in on the tablet and then you're trapped in a cramped waiting room with poor ventilation until someone finally comes out to help you.
This creates a dehumanizing, dystopian experience for patients all so that Quest can save a few bucks on labor. Pathetic.
All I needed was to pick up some test supplies that my doctor ordered from Quest. You would think this would only take a few minutes but it took more than an hour to get in and out. Very hard to flag someone down to help me since the waiting room is completely unstaffed.
If you don't have an appointment you're a second class citizen here. If you have any choice in the matter (most people unfortunately don't) then seek...
