I went into the store on a whim and saw a shower caddy that I liked, picked it up and continued browsing. I was stopped by a female sales associate with black and blond hair. She asked if I was interested in the item as she took it out of my hands and said let me help you. She took a photo of it and brought it to the front. I then saw an alarm clock I liked and picked it up and went to find her. I said, "I've never been in here before. Do I bring you the items I like?" She said yes, and took the clock and walked away. As I kept browsing I saw her again, and she approached someone near me and ask if he needed help. I kept browsing and she looked and walked away. When I went to pay I commented on a blinged out teddy bear figurine and how cute it was. She responded, "Yeah it's not for sale." I bought the items because I wanted them, but I do not think I will shop here again. I found her demeanor to be cold towards me and I felt uncomfortable as if I were being watched. She never once introduced herself, asked what I was looking for, or told me what to do if I liked anything I saw. It felt "fake nice" as if I were being handled by someone that didn't know what to do with the Black woman with an Afro puff...
Read moreI don't usually leave reviews, but I'm writing this for the people who run this store and the consumers. We live in an era where we are accustomed to prime free shipping and prompt delivery. I ordered cups even though they charged an expensive shipping fee. After that, even if I wait a few days, it is not delivered.
When I searched this store website, the only means of communication was email. I was worried that I might have been scammed. I was contacted by email and asked about the progress of the order, and they said that the delivery was delayed due to the holiday season. When I checked the other reviews, it was always a place where delivery was always late for a different plausible excuse. The cups that were needed for the invitation and delivered exactly two weeks after the invitation was finished. Whether it's an honest notice on the site that "we take about two weeks to ship" or a shipping fee wave, I feel the urgent need to correct it. Instead of lame excuses, I hope you have an honest attitude...

Spent over $200 on 4 cups and placemats and because the cups were on sale they wouldn't let me exchange for a different color less than 24 hours after the purchase. As someone who shops for decor often for work (basically set decorating) it's a huge bummer that my neighborhood furniture store couldn't allow an exchange (again for the same exact item in a different color). I spoke with Kiana and Mina. Mina basically insinuated I couldn't exchange because I was being cheap to buy something on sale. Your store should take some flexibility into account in the future if you ever want return customers.
