I'm leaving this review because I don't want other people to have to suffer what I did when I bought several items from Reformation. This is not about the Melrose store. After ordering two pairs of skinny jeans in the final sale, both the same waist size, just different styles of skinny, one fit perfectly and another I could not even get past my calf. These kinds of sizing gaps in near-identical pairs of jeans shouldn't happen when they cost this much. Being a new customer, I had the wild idea of returning or exchanging the jeans in-store for a bigger size, or at least for store credit. The woman at the shop was pleasant and polite, but told me that this was not possible to do since the items were final sale. I was so shocked, how can you not let someone even EXCHANGE an item that doesn't fit them when they've paid for it? I told her that Reformation need to make this clearer for online shoppers, she pointed out this is explained on their website, but only if you HAPPEN to click a little question mark by the products in final sale. This is completely inadequate and willfully deceptive of the brand. She even said she doesn't recommend people buying things online because of this. I left the store in tears because it was so much money to waste. To add insult to injury, I was told that my best bet would be to 'upcycle' the clothes at ThredUp where you get money for good quality donated items. Fast forward 1 month later when I find out that for my unwanted, brand new pair of Reformation jeans, they were valued at $6. From $90, to $6, I could have gotten more money from Crossroads or Wasteland. Really disappointed, as your clothes are gorgeous, but...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNever understood why stores hire employees seemingly more for looks than intelligence, kindness, or helpfulness. Have been a long time reformation customer but came in here today and immediately felt the mean girl energy so many other people are describing in these comments. Ordered the clothes to my āroomā and got a text saying to check in with an associate, so I did, only for the girl to roll her eyes at me and respond in a frankly rude tone that my room isnāt ready⦠okay? Thatās fine but the text I got said to check in. When I went to check out, I had a discount code and wanted to order something from online with a dress from in-store in the same transaction and apply the coupon. The girl was like sorry you have to choose one to apply the coupon to because theyāre separate orders⦠even though they were being purchased from the associate at the same time⦠she made 0 effort to help me out. There should be some back end way to apply it to both items as they were being purchased together and in retrospect an obvious solution wouldāve been to order the dress to āpick up in storeā and thus it wouldāve worked. The girl was so snooty I ended up telling her to forget about it and I walked out not buying...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTravelling to LA from Canada and this store was a must stop on my todo list in LA.. I had previously purchased a few items online, so I was excited to try in-store shopping! They have a cool shopping experience - you add things to a virtual fitting room and then when you go to the fitting room everything is ready to try on! The first dress I tried on had a button missing, no big deal I asked for a 2nd, the 2nd dress had a massive stain on the front.. When I went to the counter to purchase the dress I asked for a new one (I canāt think of anyone who would purchase a $300 dress with a stain) the cashiers all rolled their eyes in annoyance with me, and proceeded to bring out all the dresses in that size so that I could āchose one that suites meā. For a store seeming to be trying so hard to create a unique and incredible shopping experience their staff fell extremely short of that.. I will think again in the future before purchasing anything in...
