This place is very cool and has quite a few styles to choose from. But, after my first time shopping here, I won't EVER go back. Unbeknownst to me, I had left my keys inside the store while I was shopping, and after I made my purchase, I began to walk to my car around the corner. The staff was in a rush to close the store (even though there was still 20 mins before closing time) but I hadn't known that I left my keys inside til I got to my car 4 minutes later. I went back back to grab them, but I remembered the store was closed, so I went to ask for help at a similar shop a few doors down given both staff went in and out of both stores.
A staff member reached out to one of the employees at this place to see if they could come back to get the keys for me, but they didn't answer. I needed to get on the road to leave LA at 6am the following morning.. but I didn't have my keys. I had to call a shop nearby to have a replacement key made that cost me $500! I call this store the next morning and they said they found them that same night... Someone said they probably got caught on the jeans when I was shopping around because they found them hanging off a hanger in the middle of the walking pathway.
Thankfully I had to come back to LA a few days later, and when I stopped in for my keys, they had them in a drawer. But if the staff working had kept the store open til the store business hours posted, I wouldn't have had to pay $500 for a second set of keys that I didn't need... The cherry on top of the whole experience is the pair of Tripp jeans I got were so old and out of season, that the seems started coming undone BEFORE I got...
Read moreI came in with my friend to look for some alternative clothes and accessories. The whole time I was in there they followed me around, which at first I kinda understood because the Hollywood strip gets a ton of weirdos and the store itself was small and crowded with stuff on racks so it was difficult to pull things off and browse . But I had just purchased from their sister store so I clearly was in there with the intention of buying. I tried making conversation with one of the sales clerks that was following me and my friend but they were really dismissive. When two white customers came in they weren’t nearly as vigilant as with my friend and I. The products are stuff you might as well purchase from SHEIN, Demonia, Tripp etc. websites because the only reason you might want to purchase from here is if it’s a last resort or you wanna try...
Read moreIf you live in LA or Hollywood, reading this review is going to be pointless because you already know that this place is the Mecca of metal.
For everyone else, all I can say is that if you're a metalheads of any variety, this is the metal merch store you've always wished existed but known that it probably doesn't. If this place doesn't have a particular item of rock/metal merch or accessories, it's probably because that item hasn't been conceptualized by humans yet.
I've seen pretty much every part of this country, and there's not a single other rock shop that even comes...
