Larry Edmunds Bookshop — Local services in Los Angeles

My only complaint is that one of the shopkeepers rudely accused me of stealing. It was very surprising because I've been in the shop before, bought stuff there before. My boyfriend and I had been in the store for about half an hour looking at posters and books, and finally I found the Jurassic Park screenplay (my favorite movie). Having immediately decided to buy it, I sent my best friend a single photo of the single page that had our favorite scene on it as a sort of "look what I found!!". The shopkeep just happened to walk by at that moment and he snidely, loudly asked "how many pages you gonna copy?!"

He lost the shop about 75 bucks for that. We were planning on buying two posters, a book on zombie cinema, and the JP screenplay.

I understand being protective of your merchandise, and I even understand how the scene must've looked at first glance, but maybe in the future be a little more careful about loudly hurling accusations...

I have shopped here for some 20 plus years, and I have never been in anyway let down. This place has been here seemingly forever, filled with books you have always wanted,personal stories that delight from the owner, and believe me, if for some reason the script you are looking for is not in stock, he will get it for you, that is for sure. Between Samuel Frenchs Bookstore, which I am loyal to for plays and the manager, all the people who work there, and all the info for professional actors, and the fact they will send for a play if out of print or stock, and Larry Edmonds film scripts and all things film, Los Angeles has wonderful work by the masters and the Inde scene as well.Thank you to Larry Edmonds Books and film scripts for giving actors a place to find and fuel there art.
