Staff on reception are friendly and polite, the rooms are clean with big beds and TV. However we've had a really awful two nights sleep. The first night we settled down, and then was awoken at 2.30am by shouting and banging, a few men were banging loudly in the hallway and one of them making growling retching noises. It was quite frightening to be honest and was shaking the wall/floor of the hotel. I heard another guest confront them but I wasn't sure what was actually going on, I think the men on alcohol/drugs eventually passed out after a while and I went back to sleep an hour later but was still woken up early as the walls are really paper thin so unless you're a heavy sleeper, once one guest is up, you'll also be woken up. The second night we again hoped the previous nights guests had left and settled down, again to be woken up at 2.30am by someone on the floor having a loud conversation. This went on for a whole hour, at which point I shouted at them through the wall to be quiet, to which they did for a bit but then restarted again half an hour later. Who on earth is up talking throughout the entire night, what the hell??? If you're lucky to be a very deep sleeper or the only guest in the hotel, it would be perfect but for us what should have been a nice trip has left us completely exhausted. Sorry. I personally wouldn't stay here again as although it's a great location, it was very noisy from within the hotel and...
Read moreWe stayed at this property for 4 nights that we were in LA during Christmas. The reception is open 24hours and the check in process is very smooth. There is street parking available nearby (8am-8pm). They have limited parking available for a fee. The reason we chose this hotel in Hollywood near the walk of fame was that it is close to a lot of attractions and at an affordable price compared to other hotels. The room was clean, spacious enough to manage for 2 people. Toilet was spacious enough to manage with a bathtub and toiletaries were replinished everyday. The heater worked great! Complimentary hot water, coffee and tea are available near the reception. There is a 7-11 at a 3 mins walking distance. There are restaurants and cafés at walking distance!
3 people can also sleep inside but the hotel doesn’t allow triple occupancy. This 2 storey hotel doesn’t have an elevator, so you may need to carry your bags if you get the upper level. There is no view from the room and the windows...
Read moreEverything about this place was simply top notch. I had the pleasure of staying at this new hotel in the heart of Hollywood. After some extensive research I came across this location because of how close it was to the x Chinese Theater, it is literally across the street, and the price was reasonable. During check-in the staff were kind, efficient and informative, even going the extra mile to help us with recommendations on what we should see and where we should eat, once again, thank you Shiv. Entering the room, I was first astonished at how quiet things were, even though we were so close to the action. My jaw dropped when I saw the room— everything was so clean, modern, bright and well appointed. Hats off to the Hotel Rudra team. I look forward to visiting Hollywood again, simply because of how good my stay was at this hotel. I cannot recommend...
