Sally Beauty — Local services in Los Angeles

This store is larger than my local shop and they have so many wonderful items to choose from.

I usually go in for 1 or 2 things and end up spending at least an hour there in the clearance area before I even get to the items I was there for. As a Professional Photographer and Cosplayer, thanking that time to really search through their store allows to leave with many more items than I anticipated, but at a great price.

The staff is beyond kind and wonderful, educated and very helpful. I was pleased with both of my recent visits to this store and I plan to make it a regular stop when I'm local.

They have so many great products and you can find some great sale items as well. Treat yourself to a grab bag for $5 or $10 if you can spare it. Always something fun and handy inside.

So this Sally's in particular is especially nice. That is, in comparison to the other Sally's I've been to. The isles are very wide. Everything seems clean and brightly lit. And they tend to have stock that other Sally's are always out of. Also the people who work there were very friendly and helpful. They offer curbside pickup.

Currently, if you spend $30 or more they give you a free box of medical masks.

Bonus: it's in a strip mall where you can also pick up other non-beauty related things like a big juicy cheeseburger, or Thai food, or something at Rite Aide, or Vons, or get some scrubs if you need scrubs. And if you still don't want to go home, it's a very short walk to a park or to Starbucks or to get some pie.

I've decided to stop going to my local Sally's and go to this one instead...

I agree with all the post below. Evelyn and Jen both have the worst customer service. I went in on separate occasions thinking the last time I came in one of them was just having a bad day. I was wrong. The glares I experienced when I approached for help were like don't bother me and the response I experienced from asking for help were as if duh dummy. All I can say is I will not be back and if I can offer a suggestion to Evelyn and Jen if you don't like providing customer service look for another job that does not entail working with the public.
