I never imagined that googling “jewelers near me” would turn into such a sincerely meaningful experience, haha. I’ve been wearing my late Grandma’s vintage ring every day now for almost 10 years, and one of the stones fell out. I wanted this fixed quickly, since it felt so weird not to have it on. That’s what led me to the simple google search of “jewelers near me” — so many options came up, and I was hoping to find something other than one of those huge jewelry companies, since this ring is way more than just a material object to me; the sentimentality is so much more valuable. When I saw that there was a concierge jeweler with OVER 40 FIVE-STAR reviews on Google [plus another 50+ on Yelp], I pretty much knew that’s who I wanted to take care of my ring. Do you realize how crazy that is for someone to be able to not only create, but maintain, a rating like that?!?!? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Needless to say, I was more than impressed. I called up Sarah, and she got back to me right away. Then I texted her some pictures and we talked on the phone to go over everything, which was wonderful getting to know the person who’d be taking care of my precious heirloom.

Now for the actual jewelry — To say I’m a picky and extremely detail-oriented person would be an understatement. Finding someone who actually appreciated this made me so happy. I felt so comfortable being able to go back & forth so many times within our many conversations. Not only did Sarah listen to every single thing I said, but she was able to execute it as well. When I got my ring back, it was actually unbelievable. I swear, I’d go to look and marvel at it, and I’d barely be able to see it without focusing, since it was SO bright and shiny. What a problem to have!! I seriously look at my finger and think “wow I can’t believe this gets to be my finger, it’s soooooo pretty; thank you, Grandma & Sarah” hahahahahah.

I never thought I’d “have a jeweler” ….. but now I definitely have a jeweler, haha. I will be recommending Sarah Poursh Designs to every person I know. Since the pandemic has hit, Sarah’s been able to expand even further, being able to work with people all across the country, with everything being virtual these days. I’m so excited that I can recommend her to people everywhere, and not just local!! Oh and I’m pretty sure she uses a shipping service that involves armed guards protecting your jewelry - I don’t think it can get much more reliable than that.

If only I could give out more stars, Sarah deserves them ALL. If you’re searching for jewelers and scrolling through all the reviews over and over, you can finally stop because Sarah and SPD is the one. When I first started looking for an engagement ring for my Fiancé, I quickly became overwhelmed with the options in the LA area and nothing was standing out compared to the rest. Reviews fluctuated by day/month and it was tough to trust any of them. On top of that, it was so difficult to try and find the time to travel to these places to vet them out and when I did, the visits were never personable. Alas, I came across SPD and reached out to Sarah and quickly got a response. From the jump, Sarah was very professional, personable and it felt super natural working with her. Admittedly, I was no where near an expert in my diamond knowledge but Sarah took me under her wing and walked me through each step/knowledge point. I normally don't post reviews but I felt compelled to share my amazing experience with Sarah! While in the midst of chemotherapy, my supportive boyfriend decided to propose. Needless to say I was shocked but what surprised me even more was the fact that he wanted me to design my own ring. My great grandmother left me her engagement and wedding rings to do with how I chose. Finding a jeweler who could make my vision come true was harder than finding my man! I finally came across Sarah's page and loved the fresh twist she put on repurposed jewelry. While she's a bit of a distance from me, when she found out about my health situation, she drove from LA to the valley to my house to make the whole experience easier. She explained all the steps, the way diamonds are graded and the quality of my great grandmother's stones. She also brought examples so I can have some inspiration for my design!
