Every wedding planning situation has at least a few moments of stress. We had more than a few moments in ours. It would take me an unbelievable amount of characters to write a review that explains all of the stressful situations I went through on the way to getting married. But the biggest stressors decided to wait until weeks before the wedding to show up. Almost 2 weeks to the day before our wedding day, our venue tells me they can no longer accommodate us. Obviously, I panicked. No groom in any wedding situation should ever have to face the stressors. I did on the way to getting down the aisle. Having our venue pull out was by far the largest. So I did with any Good future husband would do, I didn’t tell my future wife lol. I wanted to find a solution. I desperately wanted to figure this out. I didn’t want her to feel any additional stress. We had been through enough. And our wedding is supposed to be one of the happiest days of our lives. Not only was our wedding venue-less, But the wedding is in California and we live in Las Vegas. This could not be a more stressful situation. After finding out about our venue, pulling out, I immediately booked a flight into LA. Started scouring the Internet for venues of any kind. For days after I found out I would lay awake at night looking for places. I put a list together of nine venues and hopes that my flight to LA would not be in vain. I landed that morning at 8:30, went straight to the first venue. It was terrible. I realized I couldn’t do this on my own, and I needed to call in a reliable reinforcement. So I called my future wife’s made of honor And our wedding planner. We spent the entire day looking at these venues, and none of them were even close to what we wanted or needed. I was defeated. I started figuring out how I was going to reschedule my flight home because I was not returning to Las Vegas without a solution. Driving through Hollywood, where the last venue was, the maid of honor said she needed to get gas. She was late getting me that morning and so instead of getting gas before she picked me up she waited until later. I told her that we could just drive down Vine. We will eventually see something. And not 60 seconds after that, it was as if the building just appeared out of thin air. Look over to my right and see this adorable building. I wasn’t even sure what it was. But I love the way it looked. I looked it up online and sure enough, it’s an event venue. I told the maid of honor after we get gas we have to turn back around. We pull up and park in front of the venue. The doors are locked. The lights are out. We start knocking on the doors and windows, hoping to get an answer. Nothing. But I thought to myself, I’m gonna put in a form through contact us on the website and I’m going to give them a call. Got to the voicemail and immediately started pouring my heart out. I had been through so much. I was halfway to tears. Just trying to find a place to make this work. It was maybe 30 minutes later that I received a call from Emily. She was so nice and understanding. She told me that she could meet me at the venue in an hour and give me a brief tour. Once she arrived and open the doors, the maid of honor, Our wedding planner and myself all broke down in tears. It was beautiful. Not only was it stunning, but Emily was extremely accommodating. Worked with our budget. Helped us find and track down vendors. And made our wedding more beautiful than it would have been, if we had been able to stick to our original plans. All of the stress that I went through for 16 months Literally melted away. I could not be happier than how everything turned out. And Serra on Vine Is one of the main reasons for that. I would absolutely recommend this venue to everyone and anyone who has wanted to host an event. Everyone from ownership to management to the staff was incredible. Thank you so much again for everything. I am...
Read moreMy son Forrest and his fiancé Erin had the venue they booked months ago “pull out” due to business closure which left them in a pressure packed stressful situation two weeks before their wedding. Forrest traveled to L.A. (from their home in Las Vegas) to spend whatever time it took to find a workable and approximate location since all the invitations had long been sent out…not only did he find the right place, but the PERFECT place in Serra On Vine!! It was FAR MORE beautiful, classy and engaging than their initial location and provided EVERYTHING they hoped for on this very special day in their lives! From the ABOVE AND BEYOND EFFORTS of Emily (late on a Saturday afternoon as I understand it, with her husband encouraging her to get back to Forrest asap after he left them a VM about the predicament he and his bride to be were in), to then meeting him an hour later at the venue to do everything possible to “make it happen” with another miracle that Serra On Vine was available!!…And then to the day of the wedding where, Jacqueline AND Sydnee were absolutely fabulous with their amazing service, support, availability and kindness!!! Additionally, thank you for the helpful gentleman who provided security as well as an additional presence to help direct guests when needed along with the entire bar staff serving the needs of every guest. THANK YOU ALL…for the parts you played in making this one of the most beautiful, relaxing and memorable days, not only for Forrest and Erin, but for EVERYONE IN ATTENDANCE!!! ...
Read moreWe recently celebrated our 20th anniversary at Serra on Vine and it was truly a night to remember. The entire experience was elegant, fun, and seamless. Their in house party planner, Natalie (@partywnv), was a HUGE help with planning the event. Could NOT have done it without her. She recommended vendors who completely delivered—everything from lighting to flowers. Sydnee, the venue manager, was also extremely valuable. She made the venue available for us to visit anytime and was very upfront when discussing the costs. Highly recommend this venue and...
