Extremely disappointed in this place. We placed an order of 11 meals for our office. We were told it would all be ready at 12:30pm. We sent someone over to pick it up at that time and she stood there for 90 MINUTES waiting for them to finish everything.
No one attempted to contact us to let us know it would be late and then we were actively lied to while the order was being prepared about how long it would take.
Other customers came in and ordered and were served before our order was done being made. They kept telling us "10 more minutes" then "15 more" etc. etc. over and over again until it was finally done after 2pm. They couldn't even be honest about how long it would take and give her a time to come back.
I'm shocked by the unprofessionalism of this establishment. You'd think having an order prepared an hour and a half late would be grounds for a refund, but they said the best they could do was give us a few free cookies.
We will never be patronizing this...
Read moreTucked away on the western side of Vine Street, just below Fountain Ave, resides The Vine Street Deli. With dozens of choices between entrée, sandwiches, coffees, teas, smoothies, and more, I decided to go for a goat cheese and chicken sandwich and an eggplant dip as starter. Both of them were phenomenal dishes. I ate and cleaned and scraped the bottom of the plates to savor those rich flavors one more time. Not only was my hunger more than satiated, but I was left satisfied, and elated of the foods I just consumed. The lady working, which I assume was the owner of the place, was kind and welcoming. The warm lights, wooden staircase, loft, and furniture, give the place a relaxing, charming, and quite atmosphere. This was my first time there, but it surely won't...
Read moreAfter a hike, my sister and I were ready for a late lunch. We saw this place on Google maps and decided it looked good. It was excellent.
Very chill and calm when we were there (around 3pm Friday). We were pretty much the only people there. The man behind the counter was kind and soft spoken; after he got us our food, he sat down and talked quietly with a woman who had been working in the back.
I ordered the falafal wrap and a piña colada smoothie. My sister ordered the turkey pesto panini and a berry smoothie. Both our meals came with a nice side salad with a mild (¿balsamic?) viniagrette. It was easily one of the best falafels I have ever eaten: crunchy, contrasted with a pickle and spicy tzatziki... excellent.
Couldn't have been happier! I'll be back...
