Fantastic cut, beard trim, line up. Atmosphere super relaxed, what you want from a barber shop.
Drew is the man to see for sure.
I was going from business meeting to business meeting in la, maintaining a hair style and beard that looked like the defining line between mental illness and homelessness.
Drew got me taken care of in an hr and a half flat, something only a team of nuns and a priest were able to do with an exorcism ceremony on my beard.
Did you know Drew’s hand were blessed by the Pope himself? Yup, one day Drew was walking down the maintain he walks down from every morning after doing a 5 mile hike and 1,500 hand squeezes for his day of barbering that lays before him.
On this day Drew saw an entire family of homeless orphan immigrants fall down a well. Drew wasted no time and immediately swung into action. Not only did he pull every orphan senior citizen and child to safety with his god like finger strength…..Drew also used the opportunity of everyone having wet hair to give everyone an immediate haircut.
This legend cut 53 orphans that were 150 year old citizens orphans children, he finished the last cut before the last hair folic drop fell and hit the floor to a stunned audience that had amassed from the sheer brilliance and captivating skills of this man, before breaking into hysterical applause. Obviously the Pope blessed him for his gift to humanity.
If you are in la and don’t have Drew cut your hair or fix your beard, you aren’t even a man. I suspect you are a desperate criminal and should be arrested immediately. Obviously if you’re reading this you aren’t, stop wasting time and book an...
Read moreUpdate: thank you for the kind response. I did not have an appointment but I was there 9/9/22 at around 6pm. I have the business card and plenty of pictures and videos in the barbershop and I am 100% sure that this is the location. I am not sure why he decided to cut my hair the way he did but I wasn’t expecting that and it’s only now that my hair has grown back enough for me to try again.
The barbershop is big and clean and the barber was friendly but I cannot recommend their service.
I went online looking for "trendy" barbers and eventually made my way to this shop. I learned a good lesson in being specific about what you want. After looking at a list of "trendy" haircuts, I told the barber to kinda freestyle with me. I was open to anything but nothing prepared me for him shaving my head and giving me a line up - I am a woman. There is nothing trendy about a basic low 1 all around and as a woman, why would you shave my edges? I went from being cute with my short cut to looking like I was making a political or medical statement. I wasn't trying to make either.
Also, the signs at the shop says the cut comes with a shampoo and drink and I asked for a shampoo several times and while he didn't say no, he just didn't do it. I never got a drink.
I have to try another barbershop next...
Read moreWould not recommend. Made online reservation with Alex. When I walked up, there were 2-4 barbers sitting and they just stared at me while rolling up a fattie. Worked my way to the counter and said I had an appointment with Alex. Walking in I noticed the place was dark with no lights on. The pictures are misleading because they have lights but did not use them during my daytime visit. Alex had zero customer care and left his earbuds in the whole time. He spent a lot of time on the cut; however, he spent more time on the right side than the left so it came out very uneven. He effed my hair and I had to go somewhere else to get it fixed. These should have been red flag. Unfortunate, since they are down the block but after this experience, not sure if I’d return.
Shalom what actually happened is above. You were part of the group outside that was getting lifted when I came in. Also, the customer that sat in Goody’s chair in the back was given a blunt to light up and smoke while they were sitting in the chair with other customers inside. Another client came in and sat in the chair to the other side of me. Their barber was so faded he forgot what the client wanted and asked what did you want again...
