I was at Target Fallbrook Center, West Hills last night around 6-8:20pm. As I was shopping, I had 2 L’oreal items put on hold for me by a Target employee at the self checkout. The items were those that they keep locked in a shelf at the cosmetics area. Since I was just starting to shop and I had a number of items to buy, it took me an hour or so to go around Target. When I was done, I went straight to self checkout to collect the two L’oreal items I had on hold. The guy at the self checkout, who I unfortunately forgot to ask his name, looked for my items but could not find it. He radioed a fellow team member named Maggie and asked about it. But Maggie also did not know about it because she was on break at that time and the person who took my items at the self checkout was the one filling in her position. And because I believe a Target employee thought I will not be getting the items anymore since it took a long time for me to proceed to checkout, they probably returned my items back to the locked shelf at the cosmetics aisle. After some time, Maggie assisted me to get my items again. I thanked her and proceeded to self checkout to pay for my stuff. Before scanning my items, the guy who helped me with Maggie told me he will give me $5 off on my receipt for the inconvenience. I did not think it was necessary, since I did not really mind the wait and was not really expecting anything in return. So when I was about to pay, he applied the $5 coupon on my receipt. I thanked him and I am grateful for the staff at this Target location. During my entire shopping trip, I was able to have an encounter with 5 Target employees who were very helpful and assisted me with the things I need. Even when I did not really need help, they were attentive enough to stop and ask me if I need help with anything. That is what I call very good customer service, and I am very particular when it comes to customer service. So when I am a very satisfied customer, I really make sure to give a good review and thank them and commend them for the good service. I will make sure to always do my shopping at this Target location at Fallbrook Center, West Hills. I am very pleased with their customer service. You guys are...
Read moreI give it 1 star because it was clean. But as for customer service , no stars! I asked a sales associate where I can find Olay Skin products and she literally looked at me , pointed and said "over there". Ummmm... really? Wowww!! Then , One of their price check scanners was not working and I asked a sales associate, "Where is the nearest working price checker?" He said, "I can't help you I'm on my break , you can go to the register like everyone else". And then I go to the checkout line , and I ready to buy my items. Which I'm buying 3 head & shoulders to get $5 gift card. I had 1 target in-store coupon, 1 manufacture coupon & cartwheel app 10% off. And they did not accept it. The manager said , I cannot combine any of them. And you can't use them .Only 1. Since when? I've always try to find the best deals and have never had a problem at any other Target before. He didn't even try to help or find out what was wrong. He basically just went about his way. And ignored me. The cashier seemed new with no idea what to say. I'm telling you , if the Store manager does not have any customer service skills or manners how the hell is he going to have a staff that is customer service friendly and helpful??? Worse...
Read moreThe sales floor manager, "Allen" was very rude and inconsiderate. I didn't receive a $5 gift card as advertised for purchasing some items, and he blamed it on the fact that I had used coupons, because he clearly did not know what was going on. When I attempted to explain to him why I believed I was correct, he said "You're just going in circles, and I won't give you the gift card because you used coupons". This and several other rude gestures such as sighs of annoyance and passive aggressive behavior made my experience terrible. A cashier was kind enough to explain when a similar situation arose in a later purchase. She explained that the specific combination of items I purchased did not trigger the gift card, although all of my items were eligible towards the gift card. What sort of manager sacrifices customer satisfaction over five dollars? I'll be contacting the corporate offices about this. Hope...
